SOURCE: replacing an removing a headgasket

You must have the 3.4L engine, famous for head gaskets failing. Most mechanics will want to drop the motor and tranny out the bottom to make the head gasket accessible. If you're patient and you don't mind skinned knuckles, you can finesse the plenum out and get at it from the top, but it's a lot harder. I was lucky and a mechanic friend did it for me (and sent the heads out to be remilled). That was a couple of years ago. I'm still driving my '95, with about 188K miles to date.

they are you're o2 sensors and they are located on the exhaust pipe.there are 3 or 4 on it.
