Hi, i cant find proton car on the product list, so ive just selected top one! ive recently brought a w reg proton satria 1.3, its had new mot and recent service at the main dealer, but today ive tried to start it and its turning over, but not actually starting, there is a little red light near the ignition that normally goes off when i put the key in, but its staying on now, is this anything to do with it? the petrol isnt coming thru to the injectors apparently aswell, could it be somesort of electrical problem? its not got central locking, but does have steering wheel lock/immobiliser, but the key turns ok and releases the steering wheel. any help please! thanks

Will do you no good. Even if you turn it off, you cannot start the car without an original key. You need to get hold of your spare key or get one made to start it. These keys has RFID immobilizer chip that has to programmed on the car to make the on board immobilizer recognize it.
Get the car scanned for error codes if it's injection model. If it's carb model, service the carb, set the distributor correctly, and check vacuum pipes for aircond control solenoid valve. It could have been connected in reverse.
