SOURCE: 95 ford probe se auto.
Automatics on some Ford Probes are prone to failure under certain circumstances. I say this because I own a 1994 Ford Probe GT auto. Have had it since 1996. It is now my winter car only. AWESOME in the snow and ice btw, but only with good tires. Get Yokohama Ice Guards!
I have twice had the transmission fail. It would start out as a slipping between 3rd and 4th/overdrive, and would do this for 3-4 weeks before complete failure would occur, after which I then would be limited to 1st and 2nd gears permanently until repaired. And both times, it was brought on by cold weather. Something about extreme cold seems to cause these auto trannys to stick, or fail.... The first time I had I repaired, the cost was $2500 but I had a 3rd party warranty.
I also know that there have been problems with inefficient transmission oil coolers on these cars, causing premature overheating of the transmission fluid. Some Probe owners installed aftermarket oil coolers as an additional or replacement cooler.
Is your transmission model the 4EAT? If so, it's probably on its way to 3rd & 4th failure.

Try shifting the trans manually through the gears and see what happens, doesnt cost anything so,possibility valves are sticking in the valvebody after sitting so long, and manually shifting the car will force some of them to stroke in their bores unless REALLY stuck.Could also be shift solenoids.Scan for diagnostic trouble codes.A bad solenoid will have set a trouble code.Just FYI,1991 was the first year Ford went to all electronic trans,i had a 91 Sable.

SOURCE: can't shift out of park
Im assuming that the lights and the window were working before shift issue. If so check the fuses first.
It may be a coincidence, In a quiet area you should here a soft click sound, around the shift lever area. If not, try unplugging the brake switch behind the brake pedal, There should be 2, 1 for the rear brake lights the other for the shifter lock-out. If you unplug it you should be able to shift. If unplugging it causes it to shift then you will need to replace the switch.
