You're talking about the engine cradle? Install an engine/transmission support. Raise the vehicle and put it on jack stands. Locate a floor jack under the sub frame. Disconnect the engine mount and transmission mount bolts. Then lower the sub frame.
Can you please check your question? When you say Codes... are you referring to Fault Codes or are you talking about Manufacturing Codes?
If it is Manufacturing Codes, Open up your Glove Compartment and get the Build Codes and this will tell you all the Build Information for your Vehicle. If you are talking about Trouble Codes from the OBDII Port, then list the "P" codes and we can help you from there...

First you figure out what kind of vehicle you are talking about. Then you look up service information by YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, and ENGINE SIZE. Of coarse, this all requires that you also know WHAT SOLENOID you are talking about.

I will need YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE SIZE, TRANSMISSION TYPE, and DRIVE SYSTEM (2-wheel drive, ALL Wheel drive, 4X4, etc. All of this makes a HUGE difference when it comes to looking up wiring diagrams.
It sounds like you are driving a vehicle with a standard transmission. (It is always nice to know the Year, Make, Model, Engine Size and Transmission Type when we are talking about specifics information for a vehicle.)
Anyway, it sounds like you are describing the "Shift" light. This light is there to let you know that based on vehicle speed and engine speed, you need to shift to a higher gear for optimum fuel economy. With a little practice, you can learn to shift just before the light comes on. I you drive this way, you will get the best fuel mileage possible from your vehicle.
?What do you mean NSS? Neutral Safety Switch? NSS is not an Abbreviation that I have ever heard of in 40 years. If you are talking about a Neutral Safety switch it is located in the transmission and would keep you from starting the vehicle unless it is in park or Neutral. Assuming you are talking about this and it's not the more common problem in the vehicles of the Linkage being out of adjustment it is located inside the transmission and can actually be replaced without any special tools or dropping the transmission in most cases.
If it's the service "vehicle" soon instead of the service "engine" soon, it could be the vehicle speed sensor which is in the transmission case where the differential lives, right over where the right axle goes into the transmission.
the speedometer/odometer works on a cable that goes into the side of the transmission with one 10mm bolt holding it in. It sounds as if the cable has been broken,pulled loose, or siezed up. Its easy to check the end under the vehicle but its very complicated checking it inside the dashboard. If you are a do it yourself type of person, id look underneath and see if the connection under the vehicle is still connected. Look on left rear of the transmission for a cable that goes into it and is held with a "Y" bracket and a small bolt.The dashboard part is the type of job where u got to make sure you remember where each screw goes to get back together.
Year,engine size,and transmission type wasn't stated,so my reply may not cover ALL.as a generic answer.On all of the Sebrings i have personally repaired,the models that had automatic transmissions ALL had the crankshaft position sensor mounted into the transmission bellhousing with a 10 mm bolt.It is located on the driver side of the vehicle,exactly where the trans bolts to the engine block.If you are standing at the rear of the engine,on the driver side fender facing the engine bay,the sensor is located at about 2 o'clock if the rear of the engine were a clock.There is also a VERY important adjustment procedure in relation to the depth of the sensor in the hole it is mounted in.It is adjustable up and down in relation to the flexplate,and should have an air gap of approximately .030".Too close to the flexplate,the sensor will hit the flexplate and destroy the sensor,too far away and the sensor will not read and the engine won't run.
