Question about Cars & Trucks
Turning ignition, won't start. Just a clicking sound. I have a 2009 Nissan murano.
Check the battery. After that check the starter solenoid. The starter itself is ok since you hear 'clicking.'

I can think of two possibilities here one is the battery is in a poor state and needs charging, repairing or replacing. The other solution is the starter motor is jammed or broken a quick way to fix this is to put the car in gear if it is a manual drive and rock the car back and forth to release the starter.Firstly though check all the wiring as it could be a loose or dodgy wire.Good Luck.

the battery needs to be replaced it has a dead cell in it and it. Your car has to have so many amps to be able to turn over. Go to your nearest auto parts store and ask them to test your battery.

Your battery is most likely dead if your lights go out. Charge or change your battery, but your altenater maybe be bad. It recharges your battery, if it don't work your battery will die..

Is it a aftermarket unit , if so you might have to join the yellow wire from back of the unit to the red live wire , the yellow wire is continuity from your ignition and some time needs powering off the live to your unit to work
