Question about 2009 Lexus IS 250
My car has been sitting idle for about a month without cranking. Was getting body work done...new tires, new bumper and paint job. After about sitting idle for 3 weeks, when the repair guy tried to crank it, it wouldn't start. We had to jump the battery, but it is running now. However, the check engine and slip indicator lights are on. The car runs smoothly, but I'm concerned as to what could be the problem. Pepboys ran scan on it and came back with misfire codes for cyclinder 2 and cyclinder 6. Anyone have any ideas as to what the diagnosis could be?

SOURCE: My Car has been sitting
There could be 2 reasons for this. One is that the fuel pump burned out (you would be able to recognize this if you turn the ignition key over and get close to the gas tank you will hear it spinning). The other is there is a sensor on the bottom of the gas tank that reads when you are completely out of gas and you will need to contact the dealer on how to get it reset. Hope this helps you out! Have a good one!
