My 06 dodge mini van idles high

If it's automatic transmission then check the transmission chip in engine area. It is little piece of electronic stick that corrects idleing of engine. Check all the vacum pipes too. Popably need to change it.

If the vibration occurs when you are driving (moving) then it is probably warped brake rotors. Machining or replacing the rotors should fix the problem. If the problem is occuring when you are stopped then sounds like a vacuum leak having to do with the power brake booster.

Note: Many warped brake rotors are cause by over torqueing the lug nuts. Hammering lug nuts on with a pneumatic air gun has ruined MANY brake rotors. It is a good idea to actually use a torque wrench and tighten lugs to the recommended torque value that is usually listed in the owner's manual.

Hope this helps you.

Breaks when pressed make a hissing noise, i have pressure on the line but no breakes?

Either the break booster is bad or there is a hole in the vacume line comming from the engine to the booster, is the hissing noise you hear comming from under the dash? if it is then the booster is bad, if its under the hood chk.the vacume line to the booster. If its a vacume leak it will idle higher than normal too.

My car idles at 3 and the brake is stiff

Sounds like you have a major vacume leak, Chk. line going to break booster. Do you hear a loud hissing or whiseling noise either comming from under the hood or under the dash especily when you apply the break? If under dash could be bad break booster, if under hood still could be booster or a break in the vacume line from engine to booster.

My 88 camaro now has no vacuum

Do you hear a hissing noise, either in the car or under the hood when its running? If you do just follow your ears and thats where the leak is. All vacume comes from the engine when its running, sounds to me a maine vacume line has come unhooked under the hood.

97 Blazer brake pedal making hissing sound

Sounds like a vacume leak from power break booster, when you loose vacume it will stall out the engine if enought vacume is lost. chk. power break booster. and hose from engine leading to booster for vacume leak, booster is under hood, break master cyl. bolts to it.

1988 Suzuki Samurai Hissing Sound Under Hood

hi its definatley an air leak if you have replaced the hoses i suggust the next thing you try is see by tighting the carburrettors nuts that hold it to the manifold as these come lose and **** air do the same with the manifold bolts i suspect you will find them loose if not then change the gaskets one at a time with the cheapest first the carburretors then the manifold you may want to go to your car shop and ask for an air leak spray or they may use some other kind of method but basicly you spray it round the carb/manifold and watch to see where the leak is yates210456
