Question about Cars & Trucks
I have a overall issue with the radio. The display doesn't "lock" in on power up and the display and radio won't operate. The display "jumps all over the place". Has anyone expereinced this problem and if it was repairable, what caused it and how do you fix it? I aquired this radio with this problem and don't even know where to begin to find the problem. It worked briefly when I recieved it but after some "on time", it went to this problem! Also, it is SMT so, where would i get parts for it (Mouser,Digi-Key, etc.)? Any way I can get help in fixing this, I would greatly appeciate it! Thank You! William Ona
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

all these circuits share some common fuses, check fuse #6 ( 10 amp ), fuse # 11 ( 15 amp ) & fuse #12 ( 10 amp ) all in the inside fuse box at the left end of the dash.....good luck

SOURCE: My 1997 Plymouth Voyager won't
When it doen'st start, you will need to check for spark, fuel. If it doesn't have one of these, you will need to start tapping the relay related to starter, and fuel pump. The best way to determine which ones they are is to get a manual, but another way is to place your hands on the relays that you think maybe related and have someone turn the key on. The correct relay will click. Now, you will need to see if the same relays are clicking during the no-start. If any of them fails to click, tap them with a screw driver. If it starts then, replace the relay. It maybe interfering with the radio since this is an electrical event.

SOURCE: My ABS light came on
unfortunately it doesn't, it runs off of a different speed sensor.. these vehicles are known for the speedo going out their is a defect in the instrument cluster, and you will have to have the entire unit replaced. while working at a gm dealer, I replaced hundreds of them..

2005 Equinox's are known for water leakage problems around the cowl and windshield areas. Water leaks in and causes shorts in the main wiring harness and eventual corrosion between the fuse panel's grounding to the floor under the shifter console. Reroute a new ground wire to the body from the fuse panel in the shift console. Find the source of water leak. GM paid to have mine fixed.
