Question about 2008 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500
We bought the truck used. the system stopped working. Dealer replaced/had it repaired. Now we need the manual and disc to program. Dealer has not been successful in getting us either. We are about to return the truck!!! Where can we get them so we can use the nav system? We cant even change the time!!
Refer this problem directly to Dodge. The dealer should know how to get what you need - his response doesn't wash

You definitely gotta have the dealer ship redo the wiring for the navigational system. Although the wires didn't short anything out, but the two similar wires may have been crossed during the installation. Aftermarket or not, the unit should have made no difference unless it is a defective unit.

if you do not want to go back to the dealer then take it to an alarm shop which does private installations on cars and trucks because most of the time when they install after market alarms they bypass them or just pull out the factory alarm altogether.

You can replace all the parts mentioned
Just make sure you have a pro fill it and evacuate all the air out.
Don't use those cans you can buy at a chain store it needs to be done right.

Press "NAV" to go to the main navigation menu.
Scroll down and select "System Settings"
Scroll down and select "Clock Setting"
Make sure "Show GPS Clock" is selected with a red check in the box.
I had to switch "Daylight Savings" from "ON" to "OFF" in order to bring the time back an hour. I assume that I'll just have to switch it back to "ON" in the Spring in order to move the time forward and hour.
