Question about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK 200K
Hi, My SLK200K is having an intermittent starting problem. After following a number of threads I looked for the K40 relay but the electrics are different under my bonnet, possibly because its a 2006 model. There are a number of relays and fuses on the drivers side, RHD. Has anyone else had this problem or know which relay is for the ignition. Any help would be very much appreciated. Regards, Peter.

Control unit (with MANY wires) is inside trunk on right side and there is a fuse box with 3 fuses at the "REAR"...assume trunk again...I have schematic only...remove the Control unit wire connectors and re-insert them to polish the contacts...

This is a common problem, but I've never seen a window regulator go bad in a Mercedes, the problem is probably the switch, you can check his by removing both working and nonworking window switches from the console, and plug in the other side or rear to roll the windows up/down,you will need to disassemble the switch that does not work and clean it well then, it will work again I've done it to my Mercedes

Testimonial: "Helps a bit, will be checking switch out, Thanks"
This could be anything in between. Heres where I would start. DOES the vehicle spray water in any other speed? Do all speeds work?
If all speeds work fine the problem could be in the SENSOR controlling the actual Spray pump. NOT worth fixing. OR your wires going to the spray pump could be cut! Check the resistance real quick between the pump and the sensor. It also may be the culprit.

Open up the sunroof and try to unclog the drainage. You will see this from the inside of the ML by opening the whole sunroof and stickin your hear thru. On the drivers side you will see a drainage whole similar to the passenger side. Mine did the same thing and unclogged it with a straw. firstname.lastname@example.org
