Question about 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK 200K

Intermittent starting problem

Hi, My SLK200K is having an intermittent starting problem. After following a number of threads I looked for the K40 relay but the electrics are different under my bonnet, possibly because its a 2006 model. There are a number of relays and fuses on the drivers side, RHD. Has anyone else had this problem or know which relay is for the ignition. Any help would be very much appreciated. Regards, Peter.

SOURCE: No power to electric windows and interior courtesy lights

This is a common problem, but I've never seen a window regulator go bad in a Mercedes, the problem is probably the switch, you can check his by removing both working and nonworking window switches from the console, and plug in the other side or rear to roll the windows up/down,you will need to disassemble the switch that does not work and clean it well then, it will work again I've done it to my Mercedes

SOURCE: windscreen (windshield) washer does not work but wipers work fine

This could be anything in between. Heres where I would start. DOES the vehicle spray water in any other speed? Do all speeds work?
If all speeds work fine the problem could be in the SENSOR controlling the actual Spray pump. NOT worth fixing. OR your wires going to the spray pump could be cut! Check the resistance real quick between the pump and the sensor. It also may be the culprit.

SOURCE: have a benz 01 ml320, with leaking sunroof drain on

Open up the sunroof and try to unclog the drainage. You will see this from the inside of the ML by opening the whole sunroof and stickin your hear thru. On the drivers side you will see a drainage whole similar to the passenger side. Mine did the same thing and unclogged it with a straw. ljsloan@gmail.com

Rear drivers side door ajar light flashes and beeps continually while driving

Hi,
have you looked @ that door's 'sensor'? There should be a button somewhere on the door , the door frame or the body that is activated when the door is opened closed.

Per this LINK the button is a part of the hinge:

I have a renault megane cabriolet and the intermittent wiper are not working all other speeds are working does anyone know what i need to look at!

Hi, if it is only the intermittent speed that is not working the cause might be the wiper switch that is faulty. You will need to replace the wiper switch.

Intermittent crank no start. intermittent shut down while driving starter replaced, battery replaced, MAF sensor and safety neutral switch replaced, crankshaft position sensor replaced, battery cable ends...

Check the number on the ECM . If it has the number 1228253 on it that is your problem. They had a cutting off problem while driving. Get one with the number 16198264 on it. The 1228253 is junk and gm replaced them with 16198264.

My mazda protege 5 hatchback headlight from driver side sometime doesn't turn on. don't know why. this is recently started. can anyone help. thanks H

Look at the backside of the headlight after raising the hood remove the bulb with the plug attached and then remove the plug look at the connections in the plug it may be that there is a bad connection I would just replace the bulb chances are the filiment is broken or hanging on by a thread causing intermittent failure.

Wipers do not work in intermittent position. They do work in low and high speeds but do not automatically return to the park position. They stop wherever you turn the switch off.

i belive that your wiper switch has gone out on the intermittent side. this is a very common problem.
I hope this helps you

Cannot locate the starter relay. truck is experiencing intermittent starting problems. it is an 87 ram 50 with a 2.6.

you can follow the ignition circuit to the starter relay, but, intermittent starting problems are almost always from a bad connection at either the battery or starter.other possibility would be weak or loose ignition at key.
