2008 jeep liberty flashers and lighter port wont work. changed fuses, still wont work. any help??

What flashes ? What fuse's did you change ? Only one fuse for lighter , M7 20amp located in the ( TIPM ) - totally integrated power module . There is a relay that powers that fuse , Run/ Accessory relay , also in the (TIPM) The TIPM is part of the under hood fuse box.

There are no fuses for my 2011 Jeep Wrangler. no hazard fuses at all .they think that it might have to do with computer in my engine

not true box is under hood now. look there first.
the operator guide tells this...
True SYMPTOMS?
all 4 exterior lamps dead, in HAZ mode but not TURN mode?
is the cluster dead?, or just the haz green icon lamps dead in cluster>. see it blink there?

short answer.
the fuse is invisible and fully electronic on this car.

tell full symptoms, and win.
and scan it.

Long answer: (no fuses? ,well that is not true, in total)
I guess you didn't open the hood, and see all fuses moved there in 2007, in the new TIPM, total integrated power module. there are tons fuse there, , ill review the system and i own one, and full docs on it, and more)

please tell us the symptoms. first,? not a guess first, and search of parts that don't exist.

tell is what works right and what not not , THE WHOLE OF CAR MATTERS. are all pod switches dead?

car runs and drives ok?
at night runs ok with bright head lights??
do the Turn blinkers work?, and wipers, and all other features?
only hazards dead? just that ????

the 2007 Jeeps radically changed on this year.
sorry 2, it's not the pcm bad for engine.

the car has other computers, not just one and they network now.
yes check all fuses first, as some fuses , that may seem unrelated
blown may cause network errors.
the TIPM fuse, and others. The TIPM is a computer as is the switch bank.,

THE FLOW: (end to end)
the haz button on the Pod switch bank, sends a serial signal (data command) to the TIPM , via the CAN-bus network
we must scan the pCm to see those errors. on that bus.
if present.
the pod needs power as does the TIPM needs power
that is why I ask do other things fail , or not.
if the haz button worked, (transmitted ok) the cluster would flash
it listens on the can-bus for the same transmissions.
this allows it to flash the cluster lamp, (independent of TIPM)
so does the dash cluster lamps flash? and click?
If the cluster fails to flash that is because, the network transmitted signal failed.
if does flash, in the custer but not 4 lamps on 4 corner of the car that means the TIPM failed to receive this can-bus transmitted signal. or the TIMP has problems..
If turns work, and not HAZ at this point id suspect bad TIMP
or some very odd CAN-BUS errors
this is why we....
i scan first. to see if there are communication errors
or error from the TIPM.

The haz module can be dead, if Fuse M20, is blown.
why not test all fuses, and avoid having to learn all this????
as seen below,
then M13 if blink fail. (only)
so if blinks are good, Turns
and haz fails ONLY, then fuse m20 is bad.
if not, bad, (including cluster dead for same)
then the TIPM programming is bad, or some strange, communications lost here.

M20 fuse runs the switch bank, that would kill all power on all switches on the switch bank , including HAZ
and M20 runs the cluster ALSO, killing it dead. if m20 blows.
m20 runs the computer in the cluster. (one more computer)

now the TIPM , it has one fuse, and if blown kills a vast array of feature, all from it.
fuse J31, powers the TIPM if this fuses blows the TIPM goes dead. and vast things fail, over more that 25 things, (im not listing them)
That is the reason for no haz fuse. is because there is no has fuse just for HAZ. (but the m20 runs many things, not just HAZ)

the TIPM main power, connects to a highpowered transistor driver
that drives, the 4 lamps. 4 corners of car DIRECTLY.
be that turns or haz, same electronic drivers for 2 features.

using no fuses. this is because the magic drivers have electronic roll back, circuits , effectually acting as electronic fuses, automatically
.same with wipers
The FSM explains all this. (book for car from jeep)
see the red words here, its a quote.

full DC distribution here, all fuses. 2008 JK
http://jeepdied.com/pdf%20and%20more/TIPM/index.html

so what to do.?
1:next time tell if turn sigs work and state that car drives ok at night with head lights on, all other things work.?
2: check all fuses under hood, in the TIPM. (old name PDC)
3: scan PCM. using a modern scan tool, all scanners work.
then report all DTC errors.
easy as 1,2,3. no?

for the features you have opted, are all dead/?
min has ESP, does your ESP work or is it dead too.
when you turn on parking lights, my esp and haz glow.
when push the esp the cluster, shows, skidding car ICON.
does yours.? aka, bank switch, other name for pod.

I'm getting code po882 on a 2006 pt cruiser

Transmission is in limp mode.

1. Check the control wire to the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM). The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) should send power out on the Light Green wire from pin 18 of the C4 connector to the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) at key on. If there is a problem in the relay circuits, solenoid circuits or pressure switch circuits, it will then remove the voltage from the Light Green wire to take power away from the transmission.

2. When the PCM requests the circuit to be energized by the TIPM, the PCM is monitoring the return voltage from the TIPM on pins 19 and 28 of the C4 connector. Tech Tips: The Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) is a combination Power Distribution Center and control module, replacing the Integrated Power Module (IPM) and Front Control Module (FCM). It's replaced as an assembly.

Driving my 2006 dodge stratus 2.4 up a hill it sputtered lost power then died won't start now check engine light is on reading P0700 and P0562. I looked the codes up still don't know where to start?

This is an indication of a problem for which there is a current class action lawsuit being attempted. The p0562 is the most prevalent of the issues. It is low voltage. The other code is for the transmission and this is most likely caused from the low voltage. Now the reason for the voltage issue is because either the alternator has failed and the battery died while driving or the TIPM is bad. Check the battery and the alternator and if they are ok, then it might be the TIPM and that is not a cheap part. The TIPM is a combination fuse block and voltage regulator that is computerized. The cost of replacing the TIPM is going to be close to 1000.

Where is the tipm located on teh 2004 dodge ram 1500?

I quote from the service manual:

"The Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) is a combination unit that performs the functions of the Power Distribution Center (PDC) and the Front Control Module. The TIPM is a printed circuit board based module that contains fuses, internal relays and a microprocessor that performs the functions previously executed by the FCM. The TIPM is located in the engine compartment, next to the battery and connects directly to the B+ cable via a stud located on top of the unit. The ground connection is via electrical connectors."

This link also provides interesting info on reflashing (re-programming) Dodge Ram TIPM module.

Regards.

1994 gp 3100 ,wont start, turn key getting all the dash lites but starter not engaging, security lite is flashing, the car was drove to my hse i know it runs any ideas, battery is new, key is a #7.with key...

You need to set the parking brake, Turn the key on let it sit like that for 10 mins. the sec light will either start flashing or will stay on or go off when done (This will reset)
REPEAT 3 times!
Then you should be able to start the car after the 3rd time!
