If you have a user manual for your car look inside of it it should tell you where the fuse is that controls your headlights... if you don't have one look on the inside of the cover of the fuse panel box you will find a diagram on it showing headlight fuse or fuses.. I hope this helps you

Either both bubs are blown or engine bay fuse panel is melted. Check 30A fuse in rear of fuse box for damage to box.

Instrument panel lights dont come on when the headlights are turned on. and no tail lights

These circuits are usually tied together. The loss of the instrument panel lights lets you know that you have problems with tail lights. Check your fuse panel for a blown fuse in this circuit. Best of luck,

My headlights went out as well as my radio and my pump for my windsheild wipers, I have checked all the fuses and the relay switch's that are in the fuse box under the hood and they were all good...is...

There are generally fuses located under a panel inside the cabin, usually located on the driver or passenger sides in the front. Not sure where they are located on your car specifically, look for a plastic panel that can be removed with a screwdriver or by hand. Your driver's manual might be a good resource for locating it.

there is a relay under the hood in the fuse/relay panel called drl, or daytime running lamps, that relay is most likely bad, a good way to tell is switch it with the high beam relay, if they come on you know thats it, if they dont, its the relay for the lowbeams, again switch it with the high beam relay and see.. either way i can tell you for sure one of those two are bad... but most of the time it is the daytime running lamps, or sometimes called driving lights relay. hope this helps you

Head lights went off while driving.

There is a Relay for the Headlights and Fuses also. Check under the Hood in the Fuse Relay Box and the Fuse Panel on the Inside. They should be Marked as HL or RHL and LHL. Also just check Really Close for Blown Fuses. Let me know if you need any Further Help. Please Rate my Response, I need all the Help I can get! Thanks!

1985 gmc sierra light issue

The most simple solution to this Problem Which is VERY Common on this model Truck (Had a 85' Chevy) is to get an Electrical Tester from any Auto Parts Store or Wal-Mart and Unplug the Headlights one at a time and check the Leads in the Harness. If they test ok then go to the Fuse Box and Check there after you Pull out the fuse and reattach the Light Harness to the Bulb. There should be a Short under the Dash on the Stearing Column. It is a Task to fix on your own But, Can be done. I went so far as to Install a GT Grant Steering Wheel and REwired the Horn to solve that Problem. You could have messed up the Harness for these when you adjusted the Clutch But, These wires only go through the FireWall and Not under the Truck. Get a Tester and start Pokin around. Any good Parts Shop will be able to tell you how to work the Tester and there are all Kinds of MANY Price Ranges. Just let them know what the Problem is and they will know which one you need!
