your speedometer is mechanical, so the radio is a different problem. You need a new speedometer cable.

My question Why aren't my speedometer, gas gauge, temp, etc not working refers to a 1988 Volvo GLC.

Either you have a blown fuse, or the ground connection for your dash gauge cluster is corroded or broken.

How do you fix a gas hand on a 1988 f150 this is killing me running out of gas every where I go...?

you need to replace the sending unit inside the gas tank, if you have a broken gauge then replace the gauge, most of the time is a sending unit in the tank that goes bad, drop fuel tank to replace. heres a picture of it, hope this helps.d6cd1f2.jpg

What do I do if I the gas gauge and speedometer doesnt work?

No help but my gauges stopped working at about the same time on my '98 Frontier. So far, the fuel, temp., speedometer, odometer and trip gauges don't work or some work at different times after starting the engine.

# 29 5 amp fuse (instr cluster) keeps blowing on 98 reg cab . no rhyme or reason. speedometer, gas, temp, & volts out.

Got a short in that circuit somewhere.Look on the volt meter gauge make sure all is tight. look for the obvious frayed wires etc.

2005 v6 instrument cluster problems

mustangs of your year are known for having defective stepper motors installed in the gauge cluster. Having someone replace the bad motor with the newer p/n motor should be a lot cheaper than replacing your cluster at the dealership.
