The spark plug firing order is ( 1 - 4 - 2 - 5 - 3 - 6 )

The engine cylinders are 1 , 2 , 3 from front to rear on the passenger side of the engine and 4 , 5 , 6 from front to rear on the drivers side of the engine

The coil pack towers are numbered 1 , 2 , 3 from front to rear in the row nearest the passenger side and 5 , 6 , 4 from front to rear in the row nearest the drivers side

hope this clarifies the situation for you

Need specifics [how tos] for 1993 Ford E150 Conv van.351,5.8L,8cyl,[5766]

First, if you have a shop manual for vans you have as much or more info than the folks who answer questions on this website.
A 5.0 engine and your 5.8 are more or less the same, just different size pistons.
A shop manual should have wiring diagrams in the back of the book.
You will need to figure out if you are having a problem with fuel or ignition assuming you have good compression.
One common problem with Ford products that won't start is the EEC relay and the fuel pump relay.
There is a list of options with no spark, including the coil, cap-rotor-wires, plugs, and the ignition module that fires the coil.

I need complete timing set marks for a 2002 jeep liberty

You didn't mention which engine size you had. 2.4 or 3.7 liter. I went with the most common for your vehicle and that is the 2.4. As far as timing marks for this engine, you can't just line up and install. The cams need to be off set then as you continue to install the alignment goes in place. It's better if you go through the instructions per the service manual which I posted below for you. If this is to small for you to see or you have the 3.7 liter engine or even if you have any questions or need anymore diagrams, feel free to email me at and I will do my best to help. Don't worry the diagrams and information won't cost you anything. If this is your engine please pay close attention to the install procedures or you will be off and will need to do it all over again. after you go through and read it you will understand if this is your engine size. I hope this helps and good luck.

Hi there,

There should be a square aluminium "Build Plate" (size of cigarette packet?) mounted somewhere on the firewall - this plate will have build information such as Chassis Number, Engine Number, Transmission Number etc, etc.

If you cannot locate this plate, then check the 'cc rating' of your engine listed on your registration/MOT papers, or compare to these two engine types (your vehicle will have one or the other):

BJ 14 - 1,290 cc
B3 14 - 1,324 cc

Your 'full' engine number will be stamped on the engine block (or may also be recorded on your registration or Warrant/MOT papers).

Hope this helps,
