SOURCE: sqeualing noise comes from belts on cold days

It is your Belt Tensioner. You will need to Locate the Belt Tensioner. It has a Large Pulley on a Bracket that Has a Bolt in the Middle and a Smaller Pulley that Goes Under the Belt and Holds Tension on it. You will need to get a Wratchet, Socket, and Cheater Bar. Turn the Bolt On the Top Large Pulley with the Wratchet and Cheater Bar. This will Lower the Smaller Pulley So that you will be Able to Remove the Belt. and Replace the Tensioner Pulley Assembly. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

One of the belt should be loose or worn. Make sure they are not worn or cracking before tightening.

I use to work at a Nissan dealership. It sounds like your are having problems with the torque converter. When the CVT gets replaced, the torque converter does too. They may have gotten a bad part and need to do a parts warrenty on it. Another thing is that they may need to reprogram the TCM. This is another step that should be done after replacing the CVT. If they will not do anything, I would try to find another Nissan dealership and have them look at it.

I know i have the same problem, and i also noticed than when i open the Hood the whistle just stops, so i figure out it must be some air cycling in or out osmewhere, I found out my air intake connected to throttle body was misplaced a weird gap was left open allowing air to whistle. u might wanna check there

What would cause whistling noise near pully and belt area noise gets louder with acceleration

The engine serpentine belt may be worn or wet. The belt slips, causing a high pitched squealing or whistle noise. The other possiblility is a bearing beginning to go out on one of your belt driven components

2008 sl awd Nissan Rogue, won't start Battery seems to have power making a clicking sound may be starter, having hard time finding starter location.

Know this problem was posted several years ago, but having same issue with my 2008 Nissan Rogue. We've tried everything short of having the battery replaced, (including charging it), and nada. So, tomorrow morning, that'll be our next move. Sucks, but best thing to die. Much rather than than an alternator, starter or solenoid.
