Remove the interior panel, tie wrap wire into a bundle then to a part inside of that panel that is away from the window elevator.

Car seatbelt tangled buckle can't move to get back in position. Help!!!????

Easy fix!!! If you have a pair of needle nose pliers. Use one to grip on the side of the seat belt, and use another to grip the other side and pull the ends apart. :)

The head rest entertainment system will not come on. Both units in the headrests and both are not coming on. I have checked the fuses in the under the dash. Do you have any other suggestions.

Check the wiring under the seat/s. I have repaired these because they get tangled some how and tear apart. these are in a coax looking cable. the wires inside are very small. If you repair this your self, be care not to cross connect wires. you could burn out the dvd players. There are wires inside of wires on this.

Some of my wires are showing and my check engine light is on there is just so many problems but so little money so how can i do a temp. fix on it?

Buy electrical tapes and try to get your wires taped toghether for the time being (if this is a inside job one that is away from the engine or where heat occurs). Don't let the wires become loose as it may get tangles up or get caught up and rip/snap could occure and that will lead into bigger potential promblems or shorting circuit up and leaind to non functioning parts. The check engine light is there for serveral reason, either as you mention the "wires are showing" which has become loose and the sensors such as throtlle, carb, fuel sensor arnt working and cause it to malfunction. But as long as the car still drivable you should be ok. But for wirings inside your hood that has become loose, you will need to buy special heat termal tape and tape it around to prevent the wirings to become loose and cause damage to other component, This is only a referal to temporay fixing.

My passenger door window will not go up on my 2001 mercedes c 240, the light on the button just dims when I try to put it up,any ideas what the problem might be?

Hi

It sounds like the cable that runs the electric motor up and down has either snapped or got tangled, they are made from steel wire, if a clip breaks or the wire jumps out of it;s guides then the cable gets trapped and tangles, only solution I can off is to remove the inside door trim to expose the metal fram of the door, remove the plastic curtain carefully then take a look inside the door, if the cable has done this then you might as well cut it and push the window up manually, once they go like this you have to replace them anyhow. you can buy after market window regulators ready to fit, these are much cheaper by, less than half that of the dealer.

Hope this helps
Regards

My power window on the driver side of my 2000 dodoge grand caravan will not go down. how do I fix it?

in a couple of years older model there is a complex cable system inside the door under tension .. it is operated by a pulley on an electric motor .. the cable terminates in a plastic part (for some unholy reason) that plastic part breaks if window forces gets too high . as when iced shut .. when the plastic part breaks the cable becomes a tangled mess .. a new cable assembly is fairly expensive and labor is even more but replacing the cable is not easy .. you have to figure out how to route it and even with a diagram its not easy .. the first one i did took 4 hours .. second one only 30 min .. if the cable is damaged then the motor might still work .. you can hear it making noise whe you turn it on .. but it just doesn't do anything .. if the motor doesn't run at all (not even click) then you could have an electrical problem or bad motor .. your 2000 model may have improved on that design but probably not .. if you take off the door padding then if you see a mess of cables in the door all tangled up then thats it ... if the cable is damaged then you will likely be able to force the window down since nothing but friction is holding it up .. but you might not be able to close it again if you do that ...

PASSENGER POWER WINDOW WILL NOT GO DOWN FROM EITHER POWER BUTTON year of car 2001

there is a complex cable system inside the door .. there is a small plastic part that often breaks (usually in the winter with an ice load) .. this often causes the cable to tangle in a hopeless way .. i have replaced the cable system (the plastic part is not available by itself) but its a confusing repair if you dont have an assembly diagram and there are many ways to assemble it wrong .. the part costs more than it should and i am not sure what labor might be but its not an easy repair .. you could have a bad motor or broken wire going to the motor (motor located inside the door) .. the wire flexes around where the hinges are but have been reliable in the past. ,,, if it makes noise when you operate the switch then the motor and wiring is likely ok ..
