It cranks over at a normal speed? Have you checked fuel pressure?

SOURCE: Power to ignition, wont start 83 Chev,4*4 auto tran. 350

Check neutral start switch. On stick cars, above clutch pedal. On auto trans, likely above steering post. If I remember correctly, has two 12ga purple wires going to it.

SOURCE: car doesn't start

Hello;
I believe you have a drain on your battery. Sometimes it can be very aggravating to locate. Easiest way I know to figure it out is to first get a digital ampmeter that reads low amperage. Take off the positive cable and attach the ampmeter in line. You will probably see an amperage reading. Go to your interior fuse panel and one at a time pull a fuse. Look at the amp meter and continue to pull and reinstall a fuse until the reading changes. Once the reading changes you can read what circuit you have disabled. Then you can start your trace from there. I have seen glove box lights and trunk lights that stay on and will run a battery down in a couple of days.
Hope this helps;

They throw petrol instead of diesel in my chev captiva now it won't start,its chev captiva

You're in big trouble here.
At the very least, the tank will have to be drained and the fuel lines flushed and bled. At worst your injectors have been burnt and require replacement, not to mention a complete engine overhaul.
I strongly suggest you contact a lawyer. This could very well be a more expensive repair than the vehicle is worth.

Sorry I couldn't have brought you better news.

Take your vechile to a auto parts stor ex: NAPA, and have them check your battery. You may have a dead cell in the battery. In winter you need "COLD CRANKING AMPS". You may need a new one
