SOURCE: How do I replace a lowbeam headlight bulb on a 2008 GMC Acadia

You will have to go through your mud guards. Remove your tire, and look inside your wheel well, you will see two part mud guard, front half and back half. Just remove the 7 screws from the front half, 5 on the wheel well itself, and two on the bottom, retaining screw to the bumper, now depending on which side you're looking at anywhere from 5-7 plastic pop-its. Use a flat tip screw driver to loosen the pins up, then remove the pop-it studs. There are two on the bottom front that connect to the vehicle frame. Once this is removed, you can access your headlight assemby to replace both bulbs. Note, you will have to do this to replace your fog light bulb should it go out as well.

SOURCE: GMC Acadia Battery?

I have been having this problem after 40K miles now. I dont know if its the battery or the fact that GM, in all its infinate wisdom (NOT) decided to use a LAN system for everything in the car. This means that EVERY circuit is ALWAYS powered, whether the car is on or not. This is why, if you try to find a switchable fuse to tap into for a radar detector or Garmin you wil be unsuccessful. Also, this is why the cigarette lighters always on. Im not sure what the actual load is on the system when the car is off due to the LAN being powered, but it could be enough to kill the battery after a couple days if the alternater hasnt been run to charge it up.

i have had a radar detector hooked up for about a year now which is ALWAYS on, even when the car is off and it has finally started to take its toll on the battery, I think. The problem isnt your specific car, its the way they designed ALL of them.

SOURCE: how to change your headlamp in a 2008 gmc acadia

Open the hood and look in the area behind the headlight itself. You will see the wires running in to the light through a collar. Turn the collar counter clockwise and remove the assembly. Remove the bulb and plug in the new bulb and reverse the process to replace.

Got a 2008 GMC. Acadia. Battery down after 4 days of not being started. Has a new battery. Charging system charges great.

There is probably a small drain on the battery - perhaps the luggage compartment light isn't switching off.

The car alternator isn't really capable of recharging a battery due to it's high internal impedance. It is better to recharge it independently.

How do i fix code poa7f for Honda Civic 2011

DTC P0A7F indicates: Battery Module Deterioration.

General Description
The capacity of the battery module is defined by the upper and lower limits of the battery module voltage.
When the battery deteriorates, the limits of the battery capacity are narrowed. Under specific driving conditions, the battery condition monitor (BCM) module monitors the maximum and minimum voltage of the battery module. The BCM module computes the battery module electrical current value during operation to calculate the battery module capacity. If the calculated value is under the specification, a malfunction is detected and a DTC is stored.

Malfunction Threshold
The battery capacity is less than 10 % of 6.5 Ah.

Diagnosis Details
Conditions for illuminating the MIL
When a malfunction is detected, the MIL comes on and the DTC and the freeze frame data are stored in the PCM and BCM memory.

Conditions for clearing the MIL
The MIL will be cleared if the malfunction does not recur during three consecutive trips in which the diagnostic runs.
The MIL, the DTC, and the freeze frame data can be cleared by using the scan tool Clear command or by disconnecting the battery.

At this point you should bring it into your nearest honda dealer as the IMA battery will require replacement.

Talk to someone at the dealership about the IMA battery in-warranty exchange program.

I hope all this information helps you out.

Ford taurus limited 2012 difficult to start in cold weather.this car have lot of electric equipement.do you think the battery is not strong enough

If the car starts normally in warm weather then the battery capacity will be sufficient. Cold weather decreases a battery efficiency so if the battery is just making the grade in warm weather then it will fail in cold weather. have a load test done on the battery by an accredited battery supplier. If the power requirements have been increased beyond manufacturers fitted equipment then it may be necessary to consider a larger capacity alternator. have the battery checked first as I think that is where your problem will be.

My Nissan leaf charges to only 70 miles now.

I have a leaf, what are your outter lights telling you? Has it dropped a bar of capacity? Remember too, the leaf remembers how you last drove, so that affects it\'s guess at range. Try parking it up for 5 minutes, then drive it very nicely for 1 minutes creeping up and down the driveway THEN put it on charge, may help its guess be a little higher.
