How to recharge Freon on my 1996 Toyota camry

Go to a local auto parts store and buy a can of refrigerant (the term Freon is not used any more). Pop the hood and trace an aluminum/silver tube to a colored plastic cap which is usually located on the left side of the car. Unscrew that cap and follow the directions on the can of new refrigerant on installing and you should be good to go.

Only the 1MZ V6 has this relay. On the 4-cyl, the fuel pump runs off the circuit opening relay, which is in relay block 6, behind the instrument cluster.

Resetting 1996 camry ac after new compressor has been installed

Do you mean recharging?

The system has to be evacuated under vacuum, and recharged with the right ratio of compressor oil and approved refrigerant. This requires pressurised equipment with supply gauges, you would not try it yourself.

That may mean a change of refrigerant from the old ozone depleting types, to a currently permitted type, depending on where you are.

That may in turn mean you need a replacement receiver/drier as well. If it is the original one, I'd have that changed anyway.

What type of transmission oil do i use for my camry

look in the manual that came with the car. it also may be written on the tranny dipstick. if it's not going in reverse, it's not the fluid type that is the problem. possibly the fluid level, but most likely a larger issue.

Camry 1996 sxv10 a/c button flashing

this problem is not caused by a filter, it is caused by the system detecting the AC compressor cycling on and off more ofter than it should, as the compressor cools it is turned off and on as needed to maintain a preset pressure in the low pressure AC line, there is a switch or other device that senses the pressure and opens and closes to keep the press within a rage of about 28-34 PSI, what does all this mean? simple your system is low on Refrigerant and may have a leak, u will at very least need to have it charged back up to full capacity, about a 0ne hour job and $20 in new refrigerant.

Toyota camry le 1996

a squirel or other small rodent type got in under your car and chewed right through your gas line and so your motor cranks but no fuel gets to it because its all leaking out of your knawed gas line, causing that gas smell. either that or an angry ex- got under your car and snipped them.... or it could be your fuel pump.
