Question about 2005 Hyundai Tiburon
My car battery died on a cold night then afterwards my radio turned on but just barely. The display doesnt fully light up and the volume knob won't work. But it seems like most of the other buttons work. I tried replacing the radio fuse and the other big fuse but it didn't work. I took it to a place that sells tiburons but they said that a code display should pop up on the display (which doesn't light up fully). Never had any problems with the radio before can anyone help me out?

You might want to try taking off the door panels and taking a look at the actuators. See if they move at all when you use the remote lock/unlock. I had the same problem and all I had to do was replace the actuators and now my locks are perfect. If they are ok, then its also possible that one or both of the lock cables broke. I had to replace one myself. If this is the problem and you have an ebay account I would buy them from there. There is a VERY reliable seller with the username mirine who deals with new OEM Hyundai replacement parts and I've dealt with them for all my parts. As for the radio, its likely the bulbs have blown out. I have one myself I need to replace cuz it keeps flickering now and then.

Testimonial: "Thanks not the heating and cooling controls and sunroof do not work. Everything else works."
SOURCE: radio not working
It is the fuse inside that yellow fuse holder on the lower left side that is bad. Not the one that says audio that is the problem you can not see the fuse but it is in that yellow holder.

Sounds like your alternator is bad, if car will stay running long enough to get over to an auto parts place where they can do an alternator test for free have it check or you can remove alternator and take it to them so they can test it. or with a volt meter start car remove jumper cables and check voltage at battery, should have no less then 13.5 volts, what your checking is alternator output voltage.
