Question about 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
I have a 2004 Hyundai Tiburon GT with the 2.7 V6 and a 5-speed. I have installed a short ram intake and a catback exhaust. While trying to drive at a consistent speed the engine will cut out completely. If I give it gas it will lurch back to life until it starts to even out. It will do it in any gear at any steady speed. It accelerates just fine until I get to my desired speed. Any help would be great.
Try cleaning the MAF. If that doesn't work start checking for vacuum leaks or for damaged o2 sensors. You may also want to disconnect the battery for a bit to force the ECU to 0 out the fuel trims and let it re-learn what adjustments it needs to make with the new intake and exhaust.
