SOURCE: fuel tank vent valve?

If it`s the one on top of the tank then yes it can be replaced without replacing the whole tank.In order to remove it you have to push down and counter clockwise. If you can`t get one at the dealer then go to the salvage yard and take one off a tank there. If it comes off you could get s check engine light.Good luck.

Need to see diagram for 88 jeep Cherokee Laredo straight 6 for vacuum line for transmission

in the USA? 4.0L engine.
So that be automatic.
and some have a vacuum modulator.
some dont.
if it does, its just a vacuum line from the modulator to the plenum.
the modulator uses hard vacuum to sense engine load, to delay shifting/

some EPA hood stickers fail to show this hose.
because its a trans hose and not related to smog.
only this is covered in the FSM.
surely you can find the empty nipple in the plenum
but is this and engine swap, and missing this?

I owned 3 1988 2 JX and 1 Comanche.

id find a vaccum line under full vacuum under idle. 20inches is typcal. (cant find real nipple?)
then add TEE fitting to this line and to trans.
end story.

there are 2 kinds of vacuum./
vsv solenoid switched, (like that on EGR)
direct plenum vacuum (bingo!)
and ported vacuum, weak or no vacuum at all at idle.

easy huh?, just use the hard vacuum line,, or make one.

How do you hook up vaccuum lines on a th350 transmission on a 1984 chevy truck with a small block 350

There should be a steel line coming up from under the truck, near the center of the firewall. The under truck end fits onto the modulator valve on the passenger rear side of the trans with a piece of rubber vacuum line. The underhood end should mount to a factory installed nipple on the rear of the intake manifold with another piece of rubber vacuum hose. If there is no nipple then plug it into the rear of the carb. If the steel line is missing, then get a piece of brake line and use it. The distance is too far for a piece of rubber hose. Hope this helps.

I recently took apart the climate control module on my 1985 Winnebago motor home (GMC chasis & drive train). I determined that the reason I was not getting heat or A/C was because the vacuum tubes...

The exact connection of vacuum tubes in 1985 Winnebago motor home
The vacuum lines attach to the pushbutton assy. through a molded rubber thing that has probably disintegrated and the vacuum lines are lying loose. Here's how to reconnect them.
Notice a group of seven nipples. This is where the vacuum lines attach. I numbered the nipples in the text drawing below. NOTE: This is the layout as viewed from the front of the coach. Use pieces of rubber tubing to take the place of the old molded thingy and connect the lines to the numbered nipples as described below.

1 2 3 4

o o o
5 6 7

Plug up nipples 1, 2, and 5.You can use  small nails that fit snugly into the holes.
Connect the black line (vacuum source) to nipple 6.
Connect the white line (rearward-pointing outlets) to nipple 4.
Connect the red line (downward-pointing outlets) to nipple 7.
Connect the blue line (heater) to nipple 3.
Check out.Thanks.
Thanks. keep updated for any more can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

Ned to now wat the firing order for dist cop shood be for a 1987 ford f100 pick-up truck 300sixcylender stick shift model#333

The F100 ended in 1983, so there is some confusion on your 1987 Ford F100. The F150 started in 1983 and was available in 1987, but not the F100. You have this listed under the 1981 Ford F100 category.
The 300 CID = 4.9L In-Line (Straight) 6-Cylinder.
In order to best answer your question I have included both the 1981 F100 4.9L and 1987 F150 4.9L below. The only difference is with the Distributor Cap Configuration and Connections.

For the 1981 F100 300cid=4.9L:
Firing order:

For the 1987 F150 300cid=4.9L:

Vacum leak 1992 ford ranger v6 4.0l teh leak is a small block that is located toward the rear of the engien on the drivers side it has 4 lines comeing off of it i can see that 1 of the lines goes to the...

If you don't see any line that should be attached to that port just plug it with a vacuum cap. The cap usually pops off when cranking the engine and the engine starts and stalls resulting in a backfire in the intake. If you don't have a vacuum cap, plug a piece of vacuum hose with a screw and put the other end of the hose to the open vacuum port.

I have been told the air conditioning drains are plugged. How do I clean them out?

(1) Get under truck from passenger side;
(2) Look near front (engine) end of transmission -- there is a rubber pyramid-shaped piece without anything else near it (see picture one). This is the drain nipple.
(3) To clear a clogged nipple, use your finger or a small tool to wiggle the nipple until the mud, dirt, debris, etc. is freed, allowing water to flow out. This water is dirty and may be warm.
(4) Allow water to drain out, attempting to dodge as much as possible.
(5) Check periodically to ensure water flows from the drain line, cleaning as necessary.
(6) Wipe arms off with towel.
