Question about Cars & Trucks
How do you remove the pcv valve from a 2006 dodge durango 5.7. I know where it is located but it is stuck meaning very difficult to turn does not budge. Is there a certain tool or something that would not break it because it is plastic. Any help would be appreciated.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I just replaced mine and had the same problem. If you look at the new one, you should find a small hole at the base of the metal tube. Using a mirror, I located the same hole in the one in the valve cover and inserted a pointed awl into it and was able to pry it out. Do it slowly since you are prying against plastic. When inserting the new one, I found that it should not be inserted as far the original one was and has a gentle snap.
