'98 s-10 won't crank and run

'98 s-10 has new fuel pump, new crank censor, another computer, and has 2.2L. truck won't start, and run. The security light is on and stays on when attempting to start truck. Also, truck did crank, and idle fine by arcing out the starter, but quit again when screwdriver was removed. What should I do?

I have a 1994 chevy s10 pick that just quit running one day. have tried and tried to get running replaced all kinds of parts, starter, filters, altenator, battery, the electronic control module, oil switch---still won't start. is there a ignition relay somewhere? if so where and what does it look like? Or maybe a wiring relay and if so where? what does it look like----any help would be appreciated. thanks

I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee its was running fine the other day n shut down wont restart I changed computer plugs coil pack crank censor n fuel pump n it still won't fire up what's next

you need to Troubleshoot in a methodical manner. The way you are attacking this issue is throwing parts at the vehicle and this could cause you more trouble in the end.

The Most Common Part to go bad on your Jeep is the CRANKSHAFT SENSOR but there is more things that could cause it

1999 blazer won,t run trys to crank but won,t change fuel pump filter and d cap rotor botton 1999 blazer

The following are the general instructions on the start of diagnosing any electronically controlled engine or transmission problem.

The engine and the automatic transmission (transmission control is only for automatics, engine is still computer controlled no matter the transmission type) in this vehicle are computer controlled and in most cases when a fault occurs a fault code is stored in the memory of the computer control module. There are exception to this, such as the Mass Airflow Meter and fuel pressure problems. What must be done is to have all the basic testing done such as a scan of the system for fault codes as well as a check with a live data scanner tool for engine functions that are not within range of normal, a trained technician is required to know what is correct and what isn't, then based on careful diagnostics done from a factory repair manual the correct part is replaced or the wiring repaired or the computer replaced (known as the PCM), which is very rarely the problem. Other basic checks must be done as well such as mechanical problems with the engine as well as engine state of tune and mileage on the engine. The transmission can have mechanical issues as well such as no gear engagement at all or a failed pump or other pressure related problems. Also engine mechanical problems ca cause many drive-ability related problem such as rough idle and other symptoms

Replaced ignition module now it won't run at all

After changing the ignition module, you may have broken the communication between all the components in the anti theft security system. This is common on GM antitheft systems. Check out this link for how it works and solutions to security problems.

My car was running fine i parked it and when i went to start it back up it wouldn't start. I've had it looked at several times by several different mechanics i've replaced the module, crank censor, coil...

Can you tell if your fuel pump is running? Also check to see if you have fire all the way to the plugs. Lastly, I'd check the exhaust. A packed exhaust pipe will not let an engine breath.

We have a 2000 dodge 24 valve 5.9 cummins pickup. it has a PO216 code. it has had 3 new injection pumps, new lift pump that should have taken care of that code. It has had a cam shaft censor replaced and...

The problem is the wires on the back of the lift pump. somewhere along the line there is a bad connection. typically at the back of the lift pump. if they get corroded sometimes they'll work and others it'll run poorly. Replacing the pigtail would be cheap, easy and do it yourself. Start there and you should have it solved in no time.
