You will have to also remove the wiring harness and computer from the 87 model and use it on your truck. This is the only way its going to run properly. Good luck, dont forget to rate.

I put a 2003 transmission out of a crown vic into a 1998 crown vic then wired the vss into the output shaft sensor little did i know that made my speedometer reading double how can i fix this will swaping...

I doubt it.
The computer for the 2003 would not follow all of the wiring patterns in the 98 harness not to mention the chip would be different.

1993 toyota 4x4 idle problem

sounds like your throttle positioning sensor is not set right so i would undo the two phillips heads that hold it and turn it till the idle doesnt fluctuate should be turned most of the way to the front of the truck. Also check your idle screw that throttle body could be set different.

Wont shift to over drive

The reason it won't shift is because that plug isn't plugged in. It goes to the overdrive solenoid and the lock-up converter solenoid. I can likely tell you how to adapt it to make it work. What year is the transmission and what did it come out of? I know they are both A4LD transmissions but I can remember what year Ford changed the A4LD from the two wire connector to the three wire.

No power to one injector

no, you got to be careful of the wiring harness you get for your car or truck . The slightest differs in years, motor size , and trans. will keep it from functioning right. the computers differ from year to year
