You might have a bad deceleration sensor or possibly a bad connection between the sensor and the module.

Try disconnecting the batery for 15 minutes and reconnecting. Keep in mind, this resets ALL computer inputs and may re-appear after 30 miles or so.

I am having a multiple cylinder misfire on my 2006 Toyota RAV4 with the 3.5L V6. Every cylinder is reporting a mifire. Each cylinder has it's own coil. I highly doubt that all 6 coils went bad at once. Does anyone have any idea what my be causing this?? Is that the problem you two are having?

My Mitsubishi colt automatic car runs fine but light comes on fault code 1867 I cleared fault but as soon as you switch off engine and back on again the light stays on again

How did you clear the fault? By using a code reader and clearing it or by disconnecting the battery? That only erased the fault from the ECM memory. That fault code is specific to Mitsubishis, so I have no idea what it means. But if the problem that set the code originally has not been corrected, it will set the code (and turn on the light) as soon as you try to use the car again.

I have asked question twice and no answer yet, even spoke with live chat

You can't turn out the vehicle speed control/traction lights without a scanner/code reader. The light is on because it has detected a problem with this system. The ABS controls the VSC. You need to have the codes scanned and determine what is at fault

Why is my lexus rx300 vsc and engine light on?

Usually means there is a hard fault code in memory.
Go to your local Auto Zone and have the codes pulled and give them to me.

Check engine light, VSC off, and VSC light are all lit up on my 2003 Toyota Sequoia

Doesn't matter what dash lights stay on after the motor starts,
you still have systems with a fault code that needs to be diagnosed

If you Google your car & VSC you can read for hours

I am seeing a two warning lights "VSC" and VSC OFF" and the check engine light comes on.

First I suggest scanned the computer in order to know exactly what fault code is stored there; note this code number and send us for additional details.

Vsc light stays on while vehicle is running

This light indicates that a problem has occurred in the "Vehicle Stability Control" system. Whenever this light is on the system is disabled and the computer control module has recorded a fault code in its memory. This fault code is key to diagnosis of the problem, so the 1st thing that must be done is to have a special tool hooked up to the diagnostic connector that can read the VSC system fault codes. Many shops have this scanner as well as the dealer of course.

Car sat in parking lot for 3 days, with a lot of rain. Upon start up Check Engine & VSC began to flash. Car ran normally for 2 miles. Pulled over shut down car, waited 10 seconds re-started engine...

It likely had water on the ignition system. The check engine light will flash for misfire. The VSC light is on just because the check engine light is on. You likely have it dried out now and its fine. You just need to clear the codes. Autozone will do this for free.

I have a 2000 landcruiser and the check engine, VSC TRAC, VSC OFF. The vehicle is running good. Can you help?

It seems that any time the check engine light comes on with this vehicle, the VSC TRAC and VSC OFF lights will also come on all at the same time...

The first thing I would do is go to an Auto Zone or Advance Auto Parts and have them pull the fault codes from the computer. It's usually a free service, and 'some' of the people are knowledgable enough to point you in the right direction, as far as what caused the light(s) to come on in the first place. In some cases, simply having them clearing the fault codes will fix the problem, and you may not see it come up again, at least not for a long time.

Recently, can you remember driving the vehicle with the gas cap off? That will set a code. (Easy fix again, by clearing it.)

Nevertheless, see what code was set and go from there. I'll be happy to help you solve your problem if this doesn't cure it!

Take care and I hope this helps! :)

If you have recently filled your tank, release and then tighten your gas cap.
VSC check engine lights are often triggered by a loose cap or fouled O2 sensor. If the light stays on for several more days of driving you may need to have a fault code reader plugged in at a service center and the lights reset after determining the cause. Get the details on a printout for future reference and psot back with results
