Toyota hzj75 wiring diagram

The vehicle will not start from the key. There is power at all points, fuses have been checked. It can be started by shorting the relay next to the battery. All lights are on the dash, however when you turn the key the radio turns off for a second and nothing else happens. Any ideas where else I could look to find or troubleshoot the problem?

If your car has a standard gear box I would look towards the clutch safety switch.

two first things to check fuel and spark ...fuel make sure your fuel pump is working its messy but the easiest way is to pull the fuel line "only one connection" and turn key to on then press gas pedal and gas should pump out if not fuel pump is bad... if thats not it you want to check for spark easiest way is to pull one of the spark plug wires and stick a screwdriver in the end then hold the screwdriver to where the metal shank is approx. 1/4" away from any metal surface ... hold the screwdriver without touching the metal shank!!! have someone crank the engine you should see a spark intermittently between the screwdriver and the metal youre holding it close to.. if thats ok the only other thing i can suggest is get a battery with more cca "cold cranking amps"..hope this helps..OH YA ON A SAFER NOTE!!!...DONT LOOK FOR SPARK WITH THE ENGINE WET WITH FUEL..

Why car won't crank?

What make vehicle an year an model . You need to look at power distribution diagram an see where those fuse's get B+ voltage from . Code reader saying not connected would suggest the PCM/ECM has no power either . Go to http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free wiring diagrams . Enter vehicle info . year ,make , model engine size . Then under system click on electrical distribution , subsystem click on power distribution . Then you can trace were power to those fuse's comes from . Do you know how to read a wiring diagram ? go on you tube an check out videos on how to read wiring diagrams .

Engine turns over but wont start , think we have eletrical fault to fuel pump.

I can't look up wiring diagram w/o year--make--model? Usually if it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the plugs, where applicable. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also, check fuel injector pulse.

My automotive database is a US database, it won't have vehicles sold only in other countries.

Removed batteries filled and charged then reinstalled and motor wont crank(no power to switch and tilt) All fuses are good,I don't know where to look next ?

No power to switch? Turning key to on does not cause dash warning lights and gauges to turn on? Recheck battery connections and double check fuses.

If the switch has no power, could be a fuse or a fuse link. You can check the maxi fuses for power with a voltmeter or test light. Those maxi fuses would be hot at all times, so make sure all have power and are not blown.

A wiring diagram may help you figure it out. You can find one here for your vehicle: http://www.bbbind.com/technical.html

click on TSB's and wiring diagrams, free. agree to end-user license agreement, next page- click on Wiring Diagrams and enter vehicle information. Then you will pick the system and sub-system to view. I would start with System: electrical distribution. Sub-system: Power Distribution. Then you can see how the ignition switch gets power from the battery.

I have a 1994 toyota 4 runner and it wont start, i took out the starter fuse and cross jump the fuse with a wire and it start but i have no brake lights heater dont work and i cant get the car out of park....

I think all of those circuits are controlled by the key switch.
I would start at the key switch and check the circuits for power.
You may need a shop manual to get all of the wiring diagrams you'll need.

2002 aultma 2.5 will not crank when turning the key

Well there are several things you can check if you haven't already. I'm just starting from point a to point b to narrow things down. If you have already done a certain step, just skip and go to the next one. The first thing to check is a fuse in the fuse panel inside the vehicle (see picture's below). I marked the fuse you need to check (#12) The second thing is to see if you are geting power as the key is turned. While you are down at the starter, have someone turn the key as if to try and start the vehicle. While they are doing that, at the grey connector (I think it's grey) check with a test light at the black & white wire. You should have power there when the key is turned to start. If no power there is a relay/fuse panel that is kind of hidden. It's called (by Nissan) the IPDM/ER (intelligent Power Distribution Module/Engine Room).Below are step by step instructions on its location and how to remove it. In the last picture is a diagram of the fuse and relay layout. I have marked the starter relay as well as a fuse you will want to check. After you check the fuse, you can have somebody turn the key as if to start the vehicle. While they are doing that put your finger on the relay to see if you feel it "click" inside. If it doesn't the relay may be bad. If it does find the black and white wire coming from that harness to see if you have continuity from there to the grey connection at the starter (black & white wire) if you do check for a bad ground. If you do not find the break in that wire and repair. The only thing that I am not sure of is in the 2000's at some point the relays in the IPDM/ER were not replacable and the whole thing needed to be replaced. I'm not sure your year vehicle has this issue. I know this seems like a lot but you have to narrow down everything in order to diagnose the problem to solve it. Hope I was able to help and good luck.

1991 toyota pickup fuel and temp gauges dont work

You might have a bad ground. According to my Haynes manual's wiring diagram, both gauges share the same ground and typically that is "located on the left side of the instrument panel", wherever that is. Sorry I can't be more specific about the location. While it may not be true on your vehicle (the wiring diagram states "typical late model" in its description), my wiring diagram says that the ground wire is Brown (BR). You might try locating that wire and track it to its attachment point. You also might try tapping into it and using a continuity tester and ground out the wire to metal (there's plenty of grounding points under there). Make sure the ignition key is off!! There might be a bad ground wire closer to the meters than the attachment point. Hope this is helpful. Allow plenty of time if you're going to investigate this yourself. Do you have other gauges? Do they work? I think that all of the gauges are ganged through the same fuse (but not through the same ground wire). You might consider checking the fuse to ensure that it's OK. Your owners manual that came with the truck will tell you which fuse is it. If there are other things on the same fuse and they work, it's not the fuse. I hope that this is helpful.
