I believe the "green key" icon on your instrument panel is a security/ theft warning light, if you do not have the owners manual, i would suggest contacting the dealer to find out more information. Hope this helps.

Ive got a honda accord ,both keys are on the same key ring and if i put the key in the ignition the green key light kn the dash starts to flash, both keys do the same

What shape is the light? Where on the dash? Check your owners manual to see exactly which light on the dash that is. It may be an oil change lamp reminding you to have your regular service done. The dealer or a good Honda mechanic can reset that light after they change your oil.

Check your owner's manual or at least try to describe what the icon looks like. what kind of solution were you expecting when you just tell someone there's an icon in your dash you don't recognize?

Unknown meaning of warning light on dash board lower right looks like a triangle with a three pronged image in it stays on after ignition.

You don't have the owner's handbook do you? I believe that's the icon for an engine management fault. Its function is explained in the manual.

Dash board lights and tail lights wont come on when I turn head lights on

Sounds like you have a fuse out in your control panel. Look inside your owners manual and locate the fuse panel, check the fuses and replace.

1. WHEN ENGINE IS RUNNING A DOUBLE SET OF RED ICONS APPEAR ON DASH BOARD(RIGHT SIDE OF OTHER CONTROLS 2. WHERE IS THE POWER STEERING OIL RESERVE CONTAINER

On Ford models, its usually to the right side/front (if your standing at front of eng compartment) with a large fill mouth and cap. What are the icons? You should be able to find those in either a Haynes or Chilton manual (or your owners manual if still available) for your veh.

2001 honda odyssey...what does green "key" light on dash indicate?

that green key is the immobilizer system indicator. It comes on for a few seconds when you turn the key to ON. It will then go off if you have inserted a properly coded key. If the key isn't coded properly, the green key indicator will flash and the engine won't start. The indicator also blinks several times when you turn the key from ON to Acc or Lock. This is normal. (From owner's manual under "Indicator Lights")
