3M makes a product that you can use to clean them up. If you are looking to make them look new, they have a product that takes a few hours to complete on both, but they will look brand new.

I have a short in my front work lights (cab n on tractor M5040) and blows the fuse after a second or two. Would a lamp out do this or just a short in a bulb or wiring?

sounds as if you have a bare wire grounding out, look around in the light cage itself and see if wires are bare.

My husband and I have a 1985 oldsmobile cutlass supereme. We are trying to find 2 signal light lenses and 2 tail light lenses in order for our inspection to pass on our car. We were wondering if any one...

give this place a try-150 million parts. 29 years old, your '85, you could fabricate a close excuse...Don't get me wrong, I like most old cars, have an '87 Nissan as only car, myself. It's front wheel drive-better in snow and ice, and gas mileage in the high 30's, hard to argue with that and a good heater besides !

Car won't pass emissions after replacing catalytic converter

Did you scan for codes to see if there were any besides the catalytic convertor? Unless she's running leaded gas it shouldn't have to be replaced yearly. Is she using an additive that puts lead into the system? I would also check the wire hareness for the O2 sensors. It's not unusual for them to wear and rub a bare spot in the insulation. This will case a short and give a false reading to the computer. Is there any chance that there is a leak in the exhaust? If air is getting in at a joint or a small pinhole ti will screw up the O2 sensor readings.
Hope this helps.

2007 dodge caravan , my right rear signal doesnt work , I replaced the bulb , replaced the fuses under the dash in the fuse box and still when I click it to the right it blinks fast on dash and front right...

it is possible that you may have a short circuit somewhere that is affecting that side light, in may be a bare wire touching somewhere , it could be in the light itself, you need to check for any bare wires.....hope this helps........cheers.

The headlight lenses are scratched and I want to replace them. How do I do that?

Your Camry doesnt have individual lenses but a headlight assembly. You will have to purchase the WHOLE assembly to replace just the plastic covers (what youa re calling lenses.) If its a lite scratching and haze you can get a lens polishing kit from 3M at your local part store. Follow the instructions to remove haze and light scratches yourself. If you do decide to replace the headlight assembly try Rockauto.com or partsgeek.com for best prices

How to replace front (by driver and passenger) interior lights in dodge grand caravan

If you are trying to fix the overhead lights the ones that you push?
All you need to so is take a small screwdriver and put some pressure on the outter side (drivers side- put scrwdriver in the drivers side and repeat for the passengers side) NOT TO MUCH PRESSURE and pull down, it is on a hinge and will swing open and you will see the bulbs, pull them out and put the new ones in but do not touch the new bulbs with you bare skin. now all you need to do is just push the lense up till it clicks and give it a few trys. hope it helped!

Front signal light not working and rear signal lights flashing fast on 1999 intrigue

Your front turn signal socket is shot. Buy a new one at the dealer for about 30.00. It will fix it. You may be able to clean it and wiggle it to get it to work. But it wont last very long. I had the same problem. Replaced the socket and it is fine. Note: If one side is bad the other side it not far behind. Probably 2 or 3 months it will go also. Good Luck.

Front side lights

There is a contact in light wiring. At some point a wire to brake lights make contact to wire to front side light (peeled wire, bad insulated connector etc.)
You need to have your wiring circuit inspected.
