Question about 2006 Chevrolet Lumina 3.6
Sometimes and when the car is cold and I start it, there is noise coming from the engine side (something stalling like (crrr crack..)). After that the car work but one time did not and I have to crank it again without any noise or problem. When the car is warm , there is no noise and the car starts normal. Please advise what could be the problem

This is possibly due to the knocking tendency during cold start. This usually happens if the oil used is of higher viscosity than the recommended value. Try changing the oil with the recommended one; and if the problem still persists, this could be due a minor leak in the head gasket or due to an excessive clearance between the piston and the cylinder, which would be sealing automatically when the engine warms up.

The check power train light will come on when the computer sees a problem with performance, the code you got was cam sensor,
You may have a bad cam sensor but testing will need to be done to make sure, there may be another problem causing cam code.
i would start with checking wiring to cam sensor and see what the noise is, may have bad crank pulley,
