Check the timing belt, tensioner, and the timing relationship of the crank to the cams. The cams never slip to each other but if the crank is off 2 or 3 teeth it will cause this. At 4 teeth off, only one cyl will fire.

If you have someone scan it with a scan tool that gives you data stream they can tell you exactly what cylinder is doing it. You might have a bad coil or wire.

SOURCE: Rough idle at low rpm
Give it a compression check and if all within spec or the same then come back to me and we can take it from there...it sound like a simple problem.

SOURCE: Number one cylinder misfiring.
Check and replace your timing belt, although it is probably not the culprit, I have seen a tooth missing from a worn timing belt cause misfiring.
It is probably the Crankshaft Position Sensor, or the Camshaft Position Sensor causing the misfire.
