I would get under there and check for anything broken/bent/damaged, particularly the spring.

I had two used tires put on the front of my 2000olds bravada and now the service awd light is on,did they mess something up.

If the tire diameter is different from the rear

Used tires will be worn & smaller

If that is AWD--- it won't work, need 4 tires the same

Same brand, same tread, same amount of wear (dia)

They also could have caused a problem with sloppy work

Why differential overheating

Lack of lubrication due to poor servicing or damaged thrust bearings will cause this.

I want to put 18" tyres on my 2008 C Class

The taller the tire, the more comfortable the ride. Low profile tires are meant to be stiff. There's also different quality tires, there's quieter tires, softer ones, etc... If you're drifting and damaging wheels and tires I understand, but if it's common to one rim, and you're driving appropriately, that rim might be bent.

Can I change my 1998 Nissan pathfinder from 15" to

You can change from 15" to 16" tyres no problem but to maintain the same body clearance you will have to go down in the tyre profile dimension. That is to say if you are running 15" 195r5 tyres then on the 16" you will have to run 175r16. Check the local road law but in most states the over all diameter of the tyre has to remain the same. So if the dia from tread to tread is 22" ?on a 15" wheel it must remain the same on the 16"? wheel

E430 rear tyres scrubbing on iside shoulder approx 1 inch

I am not an Mercedes expert, but if your rear axle is not solid from one side to the other, you have one of a number of hinged floating rear axles. These may simply require an alignment, just as the front end requires.

With excess wear on the inside track of the tires, the inside of the tire is pitched down lower than the outside edge. Most rear tires are set to run level or slightly pitched to improve handling.

If your rear assembly is not adjustable, the connecting bushings are worn on the linked suspension or the rear axle bearings have excess clearance.

Go somewhere to have a 4 wheel alignment, not to be confused with 4 wheel drive.

Please rate my info.

Front end noise, steering or suspension on 2010 GL350 BluTec

Suspension and steering noises also need to be checked out as soon as possible to be safe. When a suspension component, such as a tie rod end or a ball joint is badly worn, it can separate, sometimes even causing the vehicle to lose control. If you hear a knocking or other noise from the steering or suspension, have it checked out. Here are few examples of the typical suspension and steering noises. Of course, there could be a lot more problems in the suspension and steering that can cause various noises. Any noise should be properly diagnosed.

I have a 97 s320 and i get a vibration between 50-55mph after that it smooths out

The 1st thing to get looked at is the wheel balance.Have them checked. At the same time,if the tyres are o.k. have them rotated. This means you swap the tyres from the front to the back.Always keep the tyres on the same side of the car.So left rear goes to left front and the same on the righthand side. Also,a wheel alignment should be done. These are a tyre shop job.Cheap and doesn't take that long.If these don't correct the problem, the next thing to get looked at are the front wheel bearings.Get the tyres done 1st.This is the 1st step and also the most common problem.Hope this helps
