My nissan micra needed a new battery and now the radio wont work, i have the code but the number 2 button wont work can anyone help

You must have the radio repaired to enter the code, there is no way around the problem of the inoperable button. Next time use a battery back up, never completely power down the system. Walmart has these battery power supplies.

Micra K13 Loud Noise at Higher Speeds

I've just bought a K13 Nissan Micra and it doesn't sound quite right. The noise I hear also seems to be coming from the back but it sounds like when you chop down a gear in a manual going down a hill and the engine revvs, well this is the noise I get in the automatic speeding up and slowing down, even just cruising at a steady speed. Any ideas people? Apart from this noise I love this car.

00 micra where is drain plug

done it myself so i cannot play indignant of southsea ,showing my age here -points of view joke- right lift the back seat and under the seat is a cover ,now take this cover off and their is the sender unit ,now on the multiplug will be two think and two thin wires ,one of these thick wires is the positive feed and the other is the earth so assume its red and black ,so earth is either a black or a white wire ,now hot wire a direct feed from the battery to the pump feed but first find where it comes up to the injector rail and disconnect it here somehow (varies) then a connect a pipe to this and aim into the recepticale .the connect the pump and in about 4/6 mins the tank will be empty ,disconnect the pump then put 10 litres of petrol in and run pump for a couple of seconds to clear the fuel line or purge it in post technical terms ,reconnect the fuel line and remove the hot wire ,american slang iam learning on here american ,anyway job done .No need to steam clean fuel tank and a i have seen some bills for removing tank ect ect ,what a load of brown stuff from a bull just an excuse to up the bill worst for this is some dodgy cowboy dealers

1993 nissan micra fuel problem, automatoc choke stuck?

Running low on gas will not cause it to **** up muck ,the pick pipe is at one level fixed. This is just the age of the vehicle and possible a steel fuel tank with rust in it .fit an inline fuel filter and put the carb on a sheet of newspaper placed on the kitchen table and strip and clean it out then refit it A quick cure that might work is to remove the air filter and rev it up then place palm of hand over the carb so it stops the engine this will **** some of the muck out of the carb ,just as engine is about to stop ,remove the hand and let it rev again and repeat about 3 times it might help
