Question about 2002 Nissan Sentra

P0350 code Check engine light on got this code. Car is running fine does not seem to be missing. The rep said to replace the coil but could not tell me which one may be bad and they are $80 a piece. Any one know how to test them or if it may be something else. Has 100K miles and just replaced the plugs 2 months ago.

I actually fixed this by taking the wires off and putting connection gel on all the connections. I have not had a problem since 20k miles. Thanks for all the help.

I dont know about codes, but when my check engine light goes on, I check for low oil and thats what it usually is. Theres some sensor in the oil tank for the engine and when the oil is low, this gets set off. After you add oil, it takes a few times of starting it for the light to stop glowing. I also hear a pinging when the oil gets too low.

I have a 2005 Sonata with 54K miles. I have replaced plugs, wires, boots, one coil and the upstream Oxygen sensor. Did this based on a P0350 error code and a P0134 code. It ran fine for a week but

p0134 is bank 1 sensor 1, that is the sensor on bank 1 before the catalytic converter, it is not being read, i would recheck the connection and or check the wires for damage. As for the P0350 that is Ignition Coil Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction make sure both of the wires are plugged in all the way and there is a good connection. If the voltage is low and the PCM can not read it it will trip the light

Check engine light on engine acts as if missing new plugs wires and #5 spark pack missing again 6cyl 4x4 3.4 185000 miles

was it running this way before you changed the plugs? just a shot in the dark here possibly a defective spark plug, rare but not impossible. if it was running fine before changing them. Other wise I would take it to autozone and pull codes if it is P0350 #5 misfire we would use the process fuel, fire and compression. is there any engine coolant around any cylinders? Have you checked the coil packs? could be a bad coil pack. if no evidence of fluid around them proceeded to check for spark, fuel then compression. post back results or new post with more deductions. iis it no spark no fuel or bad compression.

I have a PO350 code on my Hyundai xg350L. What does it mean and how do I fix it?

When is the code detected?
The test fails when the Engine Control Module (ECM) does not receive a valid pulse signal from the ignition coil.
Possible symptoms
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Lack/Loss of Power
- Engine may be harder to start
- Engine hesitation
- Rough engine idle
P0350 Hyundai Description
The ignition signal from the Engine Control Module (ECM) is sent to and amplified by the power transistor. The power transistor turns ON and OFF the ignition coil primary circuit. This ON/OFF operation induces the proper high voltage in the coil secondary circuit.

Having codes P0306 and P0316 show up for 2005 Ford Taurus

Well code 306 is for a miss on cylinder six and code 316 is for a miss detected on startup, which you probably already know.
Since I assume you have replaced the ignition parts for that cylinder,
the next component to check is the injector. You may want to check fuel pressure too.

2004 Taurus DOHC; All COPs and spark plugs have been replaced. Intermittent problem (car may run great for weeks at a time) Then engine runs very poorly, and these codes come up: P0351, P0352,...

codes p0350-p0360 are all coil primary/secondary failure codes. could possibly be the pcm its self if you have already replaced all 6 coils and plugs. there have also been cases i have seen where a remote start system is the cause, if one is installed check the wiring where they tie into the ignition system

I have a 2001 sentra gxe with the following fault code P0350, P0113, P0183. The ignition coil have burnt out twice, the car stalls & the engine shakes severely when started. I have been advised to...

P0350-Ignition primary and secondary circuit malfunction.
P0113-O2 circuit slow respose
P0183-Fuel temperature "A"High input
They say 3 is a charm.as for P0183 the temperature circuit is disconnected (this is a clue),P0113 circuit of the 02 slow response (this is a clue), P0350 secondary and primary that leads to a (clue)
You have wires touching where they should not be touching. If you replace ECM and Coil it will just come back with the same problem, who every you take this for repair they need to recognize this as a shorted wire harness and see it as one unit, not just read a code. This is tied as one , have them open the wire harness to the affected coil not all the way just enough to see if it shorted out, My suggestion is to check and make sure the conection to the coil is not loose and all connection for coil is not loose,

Ford f-150 running rough

Ok P0174 Is bank 2 (drivers side) is running lean
P0350 is an ignition coil primary circuit malfunction
P1127 indicates the HO2S heater(s) were not on during KOER Self-Test and testing of the HO2S did not occur.Engine not operating long enough prior to performing KOER Self-Test.
P1780 means that the OD switch on gear shifter was not cycled off then on during self test.
I would recommend re-running your self test and make sure to warm the engine up first and make sure to cycle the od switch on/off during the test and recheck the codes.
P0174 lean code could be caused by a miss-fire and P0350 could be caused by anything in the ignition(coil,plug,wires,etc.).
If the P0174 and P0350 repeat I would concentrate on the cylinders in bank 2. If you have a spark tester you could hook it to each of those plug wires individually and look for a weak spark. or try and unhook each wire one at a time and see if you can find a weak cylinder that way by the amount of rpm drop and replace the components on that cylinder and retest.
