Problem with my 1992 Honda Accord When my 1992 Honda Accord sits in the heat for any length of time, it won't start. We have to go back when it has cooled off and then it will start. There also seems to be a problem with it starting when it is low on gas. Can you help?

This is a very common problem on Hondas. The problem is the Main Relay which can be found by looking underneath the steering wheel. It is held down by one 10mm or 12mm bolt. Simply disconnect the electrical connector and it will come out.

Honda relays have been made by Mitsuba. Replace it and you will no longer have the issue.

Replace the pgmfi relay (main relay), it's up under the drivers side dash and has "mitsuba" written on the side. They were a common problem, relatively cheap and really just maintenance after this long. If that doesn't solve your problem, you'll need a new distributor.

1992 honda accord ex sometimes starts sometimes not

you have a small power(ICM)_ module that is heating up. it's square with 3 promgs 2 on 1 side 1 on the other. I believe it's on the back side of the distributor. 2 screws hold it on/ and the neutral saftey could be giving you problems. it's 1 or the other.
