SOURCE: 2004 mer. grand marquis

ok i am going to assume by "holding the turn sinal back" that means the high beams are on. Now i believe that the grand marquis has 1 lo beam and 1 hi beam relay if they are rated at the same amperage you can swap em . The mercury i have has two locations under the hood and under the steering column to the left. In the car it is has a locking tab that you have to pull down to unlock it and it will swing out. In all honesty if you have 20 bucks and want to invest it i would suggest buying an repair guide either way good luck.

SOURCE: Location of blower motor switch resistor on 2004 Grand Marquis

The blower speed controller is located under the hood on the right or passenger side on the heater housing just to the side of the heater hoses near the very back of the right cylinder head.
Yes that would cause the concern you are having.

SOURCE: 2000 grand marquis cruise control not working

Have seen this problem before. You need to look under dash at brake pedal and find a blue switch with plunger contacting pedal, disconnect connector and jump with a peice of wire and drive to see if cruise works and if it does replace deactivation switch this should get you going.

that is caused by a "circuit breaker" not a relay. when it starts flashing, carefully go over the harness from the firewall to the rf headlamp, there is a short somewhere.

Flasher relay in a 98 mercury grand marquis?

The fuse block the relay is located in is behind the knee bolster, the trim panel under the steering column, left of the steering column underneath the dash. Common source of problems if that does not fix it is the Light Control Module ( LCM), turn signal switch unit, headlight switch.

Cant find headlight relay fuse

Your Mercury has a complex headlamp circuit but there is no headlight relay fuse. Instead, the central element is the lighting control module which receives power through numerous fuses. The battery junction box contains 40A fuse 104 and 50A fuse 103. The central junction box contains 10A fuses 26 and 8, 7.5A fuse 15, 15A fuses 23 and 1, 10A fuse 9, 15A fuse 7, and 10A fuses 21 and 19.

I need instructions on how to change the headlamp bulbs on a 2005 grand marquis. Please help.

To remove first you want to remove the headlight door mounting screws and remove the headlight door. Then you want to remove the 4 retainer ring screws and remove the retainer ring from the headlight. Then you want to pull the headlight bulb forward and detach the wiring connector.

To install you first want to a
ttach the wiring connector to the headlight bulb and place the bulb in position, locating the bulb glass tabs in the positioning slots. Then you will attach the bulb retainer ring to the assembly with the retainer ring screws. Then you will install the headlight door and secure with the screws. Then you will check the headlight bulb aim and adjust as necessary

Let me know if this helps you.

Head lights turn on and off while driving

Couple of things to check - check grounds around headlamps and in engine compartment. The other possibility is headlight switch is going bad. It used to be a common Ford problem - condensation and wear in headlight switch, making loose connection. Could also be faulty dimmer switch - lever used to flip hi/low beams

Headlights cut out after being on 10 to 15 minutes

I had the same exact problem. I found that I could make the lights come on by pushing on the top connector on the front side of the lighting control module (LCM). I pulled the connector off, cleaned it and put it back together with some dielectric grease. Only time will tell if I fixed it. On my car, it would only have problems after the headlights had been on for about 3 hours; kind of hard to re-create.
