I have a jag "LUMP" that was running when parked a couple years ago. It has (I think) Chevy 350 tuned port. I have drained the fuel tank, cleaned (sump) fuel tank and strainer, replaced fuel filter and pump. Replaced spark plugs and distributor cap. Verified plug wires on right, and dist cap in correct position. Measured fuel pressure at engine at 40psi. Checked injectors with noid light. Just won't start. I am at a loss for things to check...

Your throttle position sensor should be located on the throttle body opposite of where the throttle cable hooks on too. Look for a small black box on the other side with wires leading into a connector. get your codes read and re post them it could be a simple fix.

I had the same problem after it sitting over the winter. I changed the fuel filter and added water remover to my gas and let it sit over night for the water remover to work and the next day it ran fine.

check if you have fuel pressure you probally shorted out the fuel pump fuse. like i did when i changed out my fuel pump. if you changed your cap rotor plugs and wires it is probally not that.
