SOURCE: Took truck ford f150 to shop and told me the

Yes. but it will make several things not work the same. The catalytic converter is designed for the EFI & could be damaged by the conversion, not to mention the chance that you couldn't pass a smog test if necessary. The fuel pump would have to be changed, or modified to reduce the pressure or it would damage the float needle on any carburetor. The ignition timing would have to be refigured to compensate for the difference & the valve timing may even need to be moved a tooth or so.

A trip to the salvage yard or some on-line shopping might be more beneficial. There are also aftermarket EFI system add-ons in the performance catalogs that will adapt. There are some Ford Truck parts places on line that may be able to help also.

Dealers seem to do what is the easiest for them, helpful when it suits them so the part could be at another dealership so you may want to just check a few. I had the same problem with OEM parts & ended up buying from a dealer 30 states away online & got everything my local dealer said was not available..
good luck

How do you change frost plugs in a 1987 ford f150 2wd 4speed manual transmission? the motor is a 300 straight 6

First question would be, is the current block heater not working. If so, all you need to do is take out the existing plug and replace. You shouldnt need to pop out any other plugs.

Ned to now wat the firing order for dist cop shood be for a 1987 ford f100 pick-up truck 300sixcylender stick shift model#333

The F100 ended in 1983, so there is some confusion on your 1987 Ford F100. The F150 started in 1983 and was available in 1987, but not the F100. You have this listed under the 1981 Ford F100 category.
The 300 CID = 4.9L In-Line (Straight) 6-Cylinder.
In order to best answer your question I have included both the 1981 F100 4.9L and 1987 F150 4.9L below. The only difference is with the Distributor Cap Configuration and Connections.

For the 1981 F100 300cid=4.9L:
Firing order:

For the 1987 F150 300cid=4.9L:
Firing Order:

I need the torque specs for a ford 300 inline 6

Tighten all bolts to 10 Lbs, then 20 Lbs, then 35 Lbs.
That should be fine for the 6 cylinder flywheel.
