My central locking has stopped working from the keys. it also says no fuse where the mileage should be and it keeps going back to german when you change it to english

if you scan it, that , no fuse ,expands to who blew.
can i assume you read the operators of unstated year car?
and see all fuse boxes.????
you could just look, and see the blow fuse.
or use any voltmeter (key on) measure both sides of all fuses
easy, 0v is blow fuse. need a video, we have like 100 s doing this.
ever seen a scan tool, plug it in,
you buy and plug
you rent and plug
or any shop in town will, ask them.
some fuse look good and are not.
that is why pros, use a voltmeter, it NEVER LIES

If the key had gone faulty, the key code must be re programmed on the vehicle computer. This can be done only using a PIWIS tool, available at the dealer or at a qualified Porche garage.
Try also the following reset:
turn ignition on,
turn off.
remove
the transponder from the column
push any button on the fob within 6
seconds.
This procedure will reset the key synchronizing again with the vehicle computer.

looks like you will need a drivers door lock actuator (contains the latch)if the door will not unlock with the remote either.the lock cylinder usually will fail since you had to use it everytime to unlock the door. the lock cylinder is vin specific so expect a delay when its ordered from the dealership.i would probably expect around $800 for the complete repair, kinda pricey but the dealership will go out of its way to retain a customer.

Saab's have very specific steps that you must follow when you change the batteries in your key fob. You might try these steps to re-sync your key fob to your security system....
If the battery has been changed outside the
car and the car is locked, proceed as follows:
1 Unlock the front left door with the traditional
key. If the car has a car alarm, this
will be tripped.
2 Open the door and insert the remote
control into the ignition switch. If the car
has a car alarm, this will be silenced.
The remote control and receiver unit are
now synchronized.

you have just found this out.it is a standard feature of all vw/audi/seat/skoda cars
unlock/hold key over,the windows will go down
lock/hold key over the windows will go up
then unlock the car with the remote,car reset.
sit in car with engine on,switch off engine(do not open any door)driver can open/close any window(you can even put your hand into window frame and it will rollback,all on its(not for fun)
if windows rollback after you have used button to close them you may have sticky runners/rubbers.
this is not in the hand book,tell all your friends.....only a german car.....
