Driver's side power window doesn't work

2006 Chrysler Town & Country driver's side power window stopped working. I checked the fuses and they are all fine. I don't want to take it to the shop to be fixed because I really don't want to spend $350+ to a mechanic. Can my husband fix this? What shoud he test for? How do you take the door panel off?

I have a 2000 Town and country and the driver window and the left vent window doesn't work. My question is, "Is there a seperate fuse for Drivers Side and Passanger side? Also my Car manual says that the Power Windows have a self resetting fuse that only can be serviced by a technisian. Could that be the problem? Or does it simply need a new switch?

2006 chrysler town and country passenger side window suddenly stopped working.
other windows work, sliding doors work as does rear hatchback.
fuses seem to be good.
might there be a safety switch that somehow got pushed that keeps the passenger window from opening?

Sounds like a relay went bad. Should be in a black box under the hood or under the drivers side dashboard. There should be a decal on the panel you remove saying what each relay/fuse is for and it's amperage.

Ignore the yellow hilight.
There should be another fuse box either under the driver side dash or on the side of the driver dash where the door connects to the body.
If they aren't labeled, you can simply check the fuses one at a time to see if they are blown.
Use correct size.
The relay under hood, you can swap it with another relay near it of the same part number and check to see if that works.
If it does, swap them back and go get the bad one replaced.
You will have a fuse and a relay, but most often, it's the fuse.

My 2005 Chrysler Town and Country drivers side window won't work. Is it a fuse? My power door locks have not worked for over a year either but I know that part isn't a fuse.

Your power window switch more than likely went bad, try replacing it. IT happened to me and i replaced the switch and it worked again

You acn turn the switch over. But it is either a fuse that has cut off which means your car has an electrical malfunction.

Check the fuse box.

There is anther fuse box inside the vehicle.I'm just not positive exactly where, but there is one inside.Look around under dash on driver side with a flashlight, get on the floor board and look up.General Motors sometimes puts them at the end of the dash on drivers side.I have seen some located behind a cover,on the driver side lower dash.Just have to look. It's there.
