Not sure I follow your question. Normal fuel pressure is 35-45 psi at idle.

Yep i know i ment its only getting 3-10 psi pump was changed filter changed lines changed what eles you think it can be

I'm assuming you changed the pump because of low pressure. If so, it could be something in the fuel line, or a vent problem with the tank. I also assume the pickup screen is clear.

  • kevin walters Apr 23, 2013

Yes the pickup screen is clear im going to change the return line now

  • Stephen
    Stephen Apr 23, 2013

The return line would only cause a problem if the pressure was too high.

  • kevin walters Apr 23, 2013

Ok then it must be the vent then i changed the lines

SOURCE: remove fuel pump from tank ford windstar 98

To gain access to the fuel pump, it is necessary to remove the fuel tank.

  1. Depressurize the fuel system and remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.
  2. Remove any dirt that has accumulated around the fuel pump module attaching flange, to prevent it from entering the tank during service.
  3. Turn the fuel pump module locking ring counterclockwise using a locking ring removal tool or a brass drift and remove the locking ring.
  4. Remove the fuel pump module.
  5. Remove the seal gasket and discard it.

To install:
  1. Put a light coating of grease on a new seal ring to hold it in place during assembly. Install it in fuel tank ring groove.
  2. Insert the fuel pump module into the fuel tank, then secure it in place with the locking ring. Tighten the ring until secure.
  3. Install the tank in the vehicle.
  4. Install a minimum of 10 gallons of fuel and check for leaks.
  5. Install a pressure gauge on the throttle body valve and turn the ignition ON for 3 seconds. Turn the key OFF , then repeat the key cycle five to ten times until the pressure gauge shows at least 30 psi.
  6. Check for fuel leaks at the fittings.
  7. Remove the pressure gauge.
  8. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.

Fuel injector replace 96 ford exsplorer

Disconect your fuel rail then one at a time just pull out and push in the new fuel injectors.
Then your fuel rail snaps on to the top of all the injectors at the same time.
Just dont get the tips of the new fuel injectors dirty and you should be fine.
I replaced them on my 97 explorer.

2002ford exsplorer shuts of after five minutes and wont start unless you let it sit a while

Bad fuel filter is most likely. Especially if it will idle forever but only drive for 5 minutes and then stalls. Explorers have several fuel filters.

99 exsplorer motor wont shut off after removing keys

Your 1999 Silverado is equipped with an emergency fuel shift off within the fuel pump, but otherwise you will have to disconnect the battery to stop the fuel flow on your truck. If you are working on the fuel lines, you will have to plug one end to prevent fuel from leaking. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear,
Please check for either there is a wirring problem.
or might be the bulbs are fuse.
or the fuse for those bulbs are blown off...

kindly check all the aspects and let me know if it does not get solved

I need to know where the reset button is on a 2001 ford exsplore

I'm guessing you are talking about the fuel pump cut off or I guess you could say reset switch. If this is what you're looking for, it is located in the passenger side kick panel (see picture below). I hope this is what you're looking for and I hope this helps. Good luck.
