Check for spark at the coil, if no spark replace it. Also you didn't give size of engine.

What runs the daytime lights, dash warning lights, and fuel pump. these seem to be the factors of why my truck only cranks but doesnt start.

Check all fuses and relay fuses. Then "crack" the fuel line to the injectors and crank to see if fuel is present. If fuel pressure is present, check for spark (Ensure no spilt fuel is around) by cranking with plug lead shorted off the spark plug.

1999 1500 gmc savana wont start, it ran great, parked and now in the am it did not start...amp is good but oil gauge is low, we already add oil to it, it needed 2 qts...please help

May I ask how long since the last oil change? 2 quarts low is some serious oil loss. You are going to have to do some basic troubleshooting. Start by checking for blown fuses. Next, check to see if you are getting spark to the spark plugs. If you're getting spark, then check for fuel delivery. Do this by cranking the engine with the starter for a few seconds. Then pull one spark plug and see if it is wet with fuel. Let me know what you find and we will go from there. Good luck.

They have a problem with the crankshaft position sensor. replace that and make sure that the wiring to it is in good shape to.that should do it.

On the first cylinder (first closes one of right side). After plug is removed, turn motor until piston is at very top of cylinder.

GMC JIMMY NO START BUT GOT SPARK AND FUEL

try the oil pressure switch, that was a common problem on Gm trucks when I used to work on them, the oils switch was bad and woulden't allow it to start and the ones I worked on were on the back of the distributor.

1995 gmc jimmy has no spark or feul what should i look for??? It just cranks...

If there is no spark and no fuel I'd look at the crank angle sensor. This detects the motor position and the ecu fires the plugs and injectors respectivly. Is there fuel pressure at the injector rail or no fuel at all?
