Thanks mate ill put it on the scan tool this arv and if no fault codes show ill take the 02 sensor out and see if it has better power.

  • Ryan McKinnon Apr 24, 2013

I just took the exhaust off and ran it.. Same thing I got a few codes

    Memory codes
    Po133 ho2s11 circuit slow response
Po420 bank 1 cat efficiency below limit

    Running codes
P1124 tp sensor out of range
    P1132 ho2s11 sensor indicates rich

I've replaced the 02 sensor not long ago.... Now I'm leaning towards tps. What are your thorts?

  • Bill Boyd Apr 24, 2013

every thing is pointing to the tps. Replace it with a genuine item as the cpu settings don't always work well with after market units.

  • Ryan McKinnon May 02, 2013

It's a million times better with the tps. I just got a Bosch one for a 3rd of the price. It's still a little rough on idle and surges really slightly but still annoying, I'm going to replace the pcv and the coil packs as they're due. I'm thinking the colorist might be the coil packs getting a little sad. It's not a distinctive miss and doesn't get worse under load but hopefully I notice a difference. If not ill check the codes again.

I think you need a special long spark plug socket to reach the plugs because the plugs are deep in the cylinder head if hemi type engine, hope this helps!

Transmission surge at cruise

check the rpm and road speed when this happens . The cruise control will increase to keep RPM constant but as the road speed drops the auto may be shifting down and as the rpm increase it shifts back before the rpm adjusts. You can override a cruise control in this situation by simply pressing down on the accelerator to maintain the power setting and road speed and when the situation is passed and you take your foot of the accelerator the cruise control will return the system to the set position without you needing to do anything

Motor surge at constant driving speed

Acceleration is defined as a change in speed, either a negative acceleration (slowing down) or a positive acceleration (speeding up). If you have constant speed, you are not accelerating.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
