If the vehicle has not been driven for a while it is possible that the clutch plates are stuck together and not separating as required to do so when you use the clutch The clutch oil absorbes moisture from the air and causes rust on the plates.

How do I replace shifter cable 1982 olds cutlass superm

there may be a 'how to..' answer on the web? but first you find the new/used cable, trace the old cable linkage, removing it the best way visible, then installing the new cable in the reverse order. that is the simple answer...but, working on cars is never simple. look online or jack it up and look

Where can you bleed a clutch from on a 2003 rsx

If its a hydrulic cluch there will be a bleeder screw on the trans. follow the line from the resevor on the firewall to the trans. however I belive this car has a manul cluch that just uses a cable.I just noticed you cant find slave. now I know its a cable, push the cluch in and out and if u see anything moving near the trans its cable operated.

My mk4 golf cuts out when clutch is applied, not every time but enough times to make me concerned and frustrated.

oh dear, you drive with your foot on the cluch then? or hold the cluch down at the lights insted of knocking it out of gear? never hold down the cluch for more that 30 seconds at a time,,,,,naughty naughty! this is just one of the prices you pay for that,
its you cluch release bearing, its seised up on you, cluch riding dose that! its only a little bearing!!!!!
the fix is a new cluch bearing, but what it costs to take the gear box out to replase the bearing it would be cheeper in the long run to have a compleat new cluch fitted, and then lurn not to ride the new cluch as much,,,,and all this just to pull away a fuw seconds faster??? this is a £350-£500 job now
how frustrated do you feel now?????

From what I am gathering. the pedal and cable assemblys are ok. then it is time to tear into the clutch its self. Sounds like the throwout bearing is bad.
