Question about 2000 BMW 7 Series
I purchased a DVMotorsports performance chip, EP93, which connects to the Mass Air Flow Sensor. My wiring harness has 5 different colored wires which attach to the MAS, but only 2 of them are for the AIT which is needed to attach this part to.!!!! Is there anybody that can instruct me on how to find this information, or perhaps give me the colors of the two wires, since I've already spent about 6 hours looking thru search results and links that don';t take you where they say they will!
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

If you are installing a so called "chip" don't do it, it can harm the engine due the changes it causes in fuel control as related to Intake Air Temperature and burn holes in the pistons. All that little part really is, is a $.50 (50 cent) resistor that you can buy from Radio Shack, it is smoke and mirrors and it also will void any warranty you may have. I for one strongly advise against installing it, it will make not difference in power and all there claims are just lies and falsehoods..
