Question about 2001 Chevrolet Malibu
When I go to pull the release for my front hatch it seems to be locked in place and I am unable to pull it any harder without breaking it and I think my cars battery died but I can't get under the hood?
A trick to try and get it to open is to (this sounds bad i'm aware) smack the hood of your car where it would latch (center at edge near bumper)...if for whatever reason it has slipped it can cause the part that hooks to be applying too much pressure preventing it from loosening. may or may not work...would be better if you have another person to pull while you smack smack on the hood so as it goes down, hopefully it frees it up enough for the person pulling it to unlatch it the rest of the way.
