Question about 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee
My fuel gauage light stays on just started yesterday, and I have a full tank of gas. also this morning the Jeep stalled. dont know what the problem is. Pulled the ASD relay and the it shut down and also pulled the Fuel pump realy, it also shut down so i figured they were not the problem. opened the fuel valve (vehicle off of course) and there was gas in the valve, so I am guessing the pump worked ok, dont really know what to do.
Try turning you key on but do not crank it do you here the fuel pump kick on . if not sure try it again and tap the fuel tank with a rubber mallet or hammer. if it starts now you pump is going out ,your gauge ,flote is built to the fuel pump also.
