SOURCE: 92 Nissan Pathfinder brake lights stuck on

Change the brake light switch on the brake pedal arm. Go down to the parts store and ask for a new brake liight switch for your Pathfinder and look up under the dash where the brake pedal arm goes and you will see the switch. You will need to unplug the wires to your old one and disconnect it and install the new one the same way. It is pretty much self adjusting once the brake pedal is released. If the brake light does not go out adjust the switch pin to be longer so it will depress when the pedal is released

Thanks Chicken Dave.

The fuse grid is located under the driver's dash just above the hood release lever. You'll need to pull out accessories tray to get to it. Use a needle nose plier or similar to pull the fuse (mini fuse, small and flat) and put it back in.

Check bulbs. If the fuse was out none of the 3 would work. Either a bulb or wiring issue.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN, WHEN THE LIGHT CARRIER TURNS ON, TOO MY 1994 NISSAN PATHFINDER.

ok,if u have a tire carrier rack on the back to carry your spare tire on it means it is not fasten to the door that raises up to get in at the back.to get the light to go off u have to either take the fuse out of the fuse box or go to the back and unplug it from the sensor,so im assuming u dont have the rack on the back of the pathfinder.the light is to tell u if the spare tire rack is not fasten so it wont just swing out at any time.thanks
