SOURCE: Need to bleed air our of cooling system on 1992 Lexus SC400

The generic method of bleeding air from the cooling system is to use a floor jack and raise the front of the car as high as poss, then fill the coolant recovery tank full and run the engine until it just starts to overheat, high end of normal zone on gauge, then shut the engine down and run cold water over the radiator core, this will self bleed the system and the coolant will be pulled from the recovery tank, repeat as necessary, never let the recovery tank run dry or more air will be pulled into the cooling systeml

Have 93 lexus es300 motor raise up and down after it warm's up

Check for any vacuum leaks Make sure your antifreeze is full and bleed (no air in system) Common leaks are intake gasket and hoses If all are ok inspect the IAC, idle air control valve mounted under throttle body Common for the windings to go bad

My car idles high in the morning when I start my car and it takes about 10 minutes before it is warm enough to put into gear, otherwise it will kick into gear hard which could mess up my transmission.

Sounds like it may be time for some maintenance. Have the radiator and cooling system flushed(if you wish to do it yourself, you can buy a chemical at any auto parts store and follow the instructions). Once the cooling system has been cleaned and prior to refilling, replace the thermostat. Refill the system and bleed as necessary. Be sure to turn the heater on full blast as you're bleeding the cooling system. It should also make your heater and A/C a little more efficient.
