What is the the legality of burning garbage like tires old tvs organic waste like arisol cans and every thing you can put in your garbage bage in your back yard on the ground

******* is the answer! do you not have a Recycle centre that allow you to take this kind of stuff off you if you go with everything in a van they may charge a small fee but then it's a lot smaller than burning yourself & getting into court & the aggro. Cheers, Malcolm Campbell

What would cause my TAHOE TOW/HAUL mode to engage on its own?

You need to have a diagnostic scan tool hooked up ,glitch in one of the control modules or a wire in the circuit shorting to ground ! probably something simple but hard to find ! With a factory scan tool they can check the input signal to the BCM ,PCM .
Tow/Haul mode enables the operator to achieve enhanced shift performance when towing or hauling a load. When tow/haul mode is selected, the tow/haul switch input signal to the body control module (BCM) is momentarily toggled to zero volts. This signals the powertrain control module (PCM) or transmission control module (TCM) to extend the length of time between upshifts and increase transmission line pressure. Cycling the tow/haul switch again, or cycling the ignition switch disables tow/haul mode and returns the transmission to a normal shift pattern.

What could be the cause of oil burning and excessive smoking?

Sorry to tell you this, but it sounds like they may have put your rings in wrong or one broke right away. If you want to verify which cylinder it is, pull the spark plugs and see which one has oil on it. I suggest you take it back to the place that did overhaul and have done over.

o/d stands for over drive you want it on all the time unless your towing or hauling something heavy then you want to turn it off or it will burn out your overdrive, it is ok to haul heavy with it in overdrive you just wanna make sure you turn it off if before you go up any hills or on the interstate or if you have to speed up and slow down alot

Can't find location for trailer elect hook-up

there is no factory connector you must tap into the existing wiring for brake, turn signals, tail and running lights, they make special adapters to "piggy back" into these wiries, U-Haul trailer rental can do (install and sell) this kit for u very cheap.

2500 hd chevy needs new tires at 40,000 which ones best

If you are hauling most of the time, then consider commercial tyres - often denoted by a "C" at the end of the spec. These have a harder tread compound - so will tend to wear less, and thicker sidewall.
Ask at tyre fitters who do trucks most of the time - and use their advice. Prices can be all over the place, with no bearing on quality or longevity. Use your fingers as the best guide - the harder the tread - the longer it will last.
If you expect snow or ice, keep your softer tyres on the rims for winter, and use the harder ones for summer.

I drive a Land Rover and have 3 sets depending on summer, winter or off-road. Keep them under a tarp, and if outdoors - chained together!

Transmission tow/haul mode

Hi, the problem is when you are tilting the steering wheel all the way up it's putting to much tenstion on the wires that come outof your shifter that run to the tow/haul button. i am 99% sure your wires are disconected. rewire them and add some extra wire so next time there will be more slack in your wires.
